I use PIA VPN on my headless server machine that I use to torrent.

I've made all the traffic from deluge user go through the VPN whilst leaving the other users untouched (cause I use plex which doesnt work that well with PIA).

I also made my own "open ports" script for the PIA VPN that sends the current listen interface and open port setting to my deluge installation so that I am connectable and if the connection drops I wont be transmittion my IP all across that shit (which is doubled with the deluge user not having a connection without the VPN being active. Say, I have "inconsistent" habits and a weak connection in upload (tops at 40kbps), and don't know if I can manage to keep one pc of mine running torrents forever, since they enforce a 72 hours required upload time which will kill my connection, I'll probably get a raspberry at some point to automate the work nighttime, because I still don't feel like spending monies into a service seedbox, and with some luck I'll also see an upgrate to my connection at the end of next year, that's all
