I think chink nerf darts would be fine, the stuff that's simple to manufacture always is good to chink out on.

The only two problems I could see coming up are the darts are not to proper nerf spec which I think is really just not likely whatsoever, and the glue that holds the suction cup or tip to the foam is weak, but that's an easy fix if something comes off.

I bought a JJRC H31 about two weeks ago because it was advertised as being basically invincible and I wanted something to dick around with.

Pros:

>it's vaguely waterproof so you can fly it in the rain
>relatively flat underside makes it fairly simple to attach bigger batteries and/or keychain cameras
>tall undercarriage further facilitates this
>extremely stable and can easily be flown around indoors if you have large enough rooms
>very tight flips
>exceptionally stable video for some reason

Cons
>the main test of its durability came when it just gave up on life and crashed to the ground from about 20m up, though I think this may have been due to my controller batteries
>mediocre flight time of 5m on stock batteries, battery compartment can't fit anything much larger so you'll need to attach a bigger one to the outside with a rubber band
>prop guards are retarded but could be cut off
>low battery warning is that the big nose light on the front starts flashing, but it only does this for about 10 seconds before it falls out of the air so good luck if it's facing away from you at the time
>high speed mode has uncontrollably fast yaw
>motors are soldered on so replacing them is a ballache

It's definitely a good quad for $30 or so, and its sturdy design means you can just put it in a backpack without needing to worry about crushing it or whatever. The X250 is nicer to fly though, especially when paired with the X6 transmitter.

The white XK one is the X100. It's not as robust as the H22 because the main PCB is used as the frame so crash it hard enough and you've basically killed it. You will do a lot of crashing with it too, because you can turn off the self-leveling aspect, i.e. push the stick forward to tilt it forward and it will stay tilted like that when you release the stick. It takes a while and a lot of high speed crashes to get used to, but it's immense fun once you do. It's also a seriously fast and agile little flyer, and it's powerful enough to mount a tiny little FPV camera to it, which I intend to do shortly.

From left to right, the minis are the Eachine E10C (with a camera which is genuinely good), Floureon F10 (pretty sure this is a Cheerson CX-10 clone) and FQ777-124, whose gimmick is that it has a fuckhuge controller you can store the quad inside for easier transportation.

Eachine E10C, it's fucking awesome and has a legitimately decent camera, see weebm related with the standard excuse about my inability to weebm properly. I prefer the H101 because although it only has two speed settings, both are actually useful, whereas the slowest setting on the H22 is too sluggish for anything beyond babby's first indoor flight and the third setting is so frantic it's semi-uncontrollable, especially with the ludicrous yaw rate. Both feel pretty robust, though I've only really tested the H22's durability because it was my first quadcopter. The H22 certainly looks nicer.

I'm thinking of making some sort of Audio streaming device using an orange pi based on either Volumio or Runeaudio. I plan on using either the Orange Pi PC that I currently have, or the Orange Pi PC PLus with wifi. I would like it to have a screen, and a knob on it that I can use to control the volume, change tracks, etc.

I have one. Works very well and is cute. The power supply is about 2x the size of the amp itself.

My only complaint is that whenever you first turn it on, it has this gloriously cheesy music that plays for about 3 seconds.

Drives some old RCA speakers well. 8/10 would buy again. And the bluetooth works decently too, although I didn't get it for that.

No- I've only used it as an amp and have never thought to use it as a DAC. I use it in our bedroom instead of the shit built-in TV speakers and use the line-in. I might see how it works as a DAC soon though... I have another Scarlett DAC/interface in my closet somewhere that I haven't used in a while.

I just purchased them due to them being cheaper currently than the Pro 80's
I bought them for durability and the good bass, as I'm using them on public transport.

they are well documented to be good headphones/a decent headset. if you want alternatives, ask /hpg/

I personally have HD600's so i know they won't stack up sonically, but they are damn sturdy from what I've seen.
