There's a lot of discussion of recently-ordered and just-received Chinese products in these threads, which is great. However, there's relatively little discussion of the long-term durability and utility of many of the items in question, with a lot of the "reviews" being little more than unboxing exercises.

What I propose, then, is that simultaneous with the next new /csg/ thread, someone create a thread where people can post about how their gear has held up over a longer period of time, whether they have found a meaningful use for it, and to what extent (if any) they have managed to integrate it into their daily lives. We could call it "csg long term", or /csglt/.

What do you think, Anonymous?

Sensor-wise, the JD that I own is identical to the $10-$15 Best Buy mice that I used to own in the past. Perfect for everyday use. I'm not a hardcore gaymur but I do play games and it works just fine. Build quality-wise it's like a $30-$40 mouse. I'm really impressed with how well it's put together.

I got it for $7.42 and it was so, so, so worth it, at least for the 5 or so weeks that I've had it. I'll see how it's holding up after 6 months, a year, etc. and keep /csg/ informed.

Nothing, Logitech is purposely making shit low end mice now. My old MX518 lasted me over a decade, best mouse I've ever used.

Now I just buy B100s as replacements but they break. The way the left and right click buttons are designed they have this cheap plastic injection moulding bit that wears down and then the button no longer works.

The sensors and everything are fine, as are the actual electronic switches (so everything that Logitech doesn't actually make) but the plastic shell is cheap garbage.
