I don't even know what there is left to replace in my computer but it's still running games that it can definitely handle at 30fps max on lowest settings. Even that isn't steady. Could this be a power supply thing? Why won't my computer turn on when I plug my GPU into the PSU? When I run my PC without it connected to the PSU, the fans on the GPU run.

I switched the PCI slots on the motherboard too, and same results.

Not new to linux or anything, but instead of using unetbootin I tried the dd way (found on slackware's admittedly outdated wiki):

Ok. Well first I had windows 7. Then upgraded to Windows 10. Then the boot manager messed up. Since I have no windows 10 installation disk I can't repair it and am required to go back to Windows 7. Problem is my back up failed and so now I can't get to my files. I ran a debian live usb but when I try to access my windows hard drive it says the drive won't mount cause windows is in hibernate. Any way I can get past that?

Here's my situation /g/:
I'm looking to upgrade my internet speeds at home. I currently have one of the, if not the, lowest tier of Internet available from AT&T. My speeds max out at about ~79kbps, and that's only if there's no one else on the network. It also randomly stops working about 2-3 times a day, requiring me to restart the router.
Because I live in Bumfuck, Nowhere, my only alternatives are various super shitty satellite services or AT&T U-verse. AT&T is offering a "special deal" to upgrade to U-verse while billing me for the same amount as my previous tier of DSL. Allegedly this upgrade would basically be 3 times what I've got now. I've heard terrible things about U-verse so I really don't want to do this. I primarily use the internet for gaming, shitposting on 4chan and torrent (while I sleep.)

- No, downloading a .zip file containing windows drivers for 5.1 bootcamp assistant and putting it on a USB while still not having a partitioned hard-drive isn't a clever way around anything.

- You can not, in fact, re-use a product key for windows 7 that came pre-installed on an entirely different fucking machine

Is the Oneplus 3's headphone jack OMTP or CTIA? Looking to get a cable with a shitty inline mic for use with my Senn HD 598s and I can't find the answer to this fucking anywhere. Detached all the components from the motherboard/PSU except for the CPU, CPU Cooler, 1 stick of RAM, CD-drive, and the case fans.
Ran Memtest86 from CD.
RAM stick 1 (A-chan) had 4 successful passes on slot 1, no errors (ran the default test), but on slot 3 the PC won't boot up to the point where it can access the CD drive, so cannot run the test.
RAM stick 2 (B-kun) doesn't boot up to the point where it can access the CD drive in either slot 1 or 3, so cannot run the test.
Both RAM sticks together can run the test, but have many errors, and froze overnight.

I don't know if the RAM is bad, the motherboard is bad, heck maybe the CPU is bad? That's the only thing I need to check now, maybe the thermal paste leaked onto the mobo and is shorting things out, I don't know, I'm running out of ideas. And I'm worried the RMA process is going to blame me for everything if my hardware was faulty to begin with. PC is barely a month old too. Hear so many bad stories from people going through the process and the lucky ones don't get their issues resolved until sometimes months later. Maybe building this thing was a mistake.

Hello, is there a recommended mouse/keyboard image?
I want some decent mouse that looks normal, for gaming, working in PS and similar software, but that isn't riddled with gaming style? And a nice keyboard, also preferably non gaming looking?

As for the mouse, Zowie FK2 is a small, sober and great optical mouse. It doesn't even need drivers to work. You can grab it new for around 50/60$.
As for the keyboard, it depends on what you're looking for.

Full keyboard with numpad, wired/wireless don't really care, rubber dome/mech also don't really care, normal keys not that chiclet crap or anything similar to it, nice build quality, sturdy, will last.
