Okay you seem like a nice guy, so i'm going to tell it like it is. Leave TorrentLeech, there are better general trackers that are also much easier to seed. IPTorrents is widely known for having a moneygrabber as owner and generally shitty/dumb staff, but it's the best general tracker there is right now. Don't waste money to buy an account unless you really cannot find an invite in the wild, they are sure plentiful out there. While IPT is the "best" general tracker out there in terms of content, you might wanna still consider entering much better and more specialized trackers. Read the PTG wiki and start the rpg to climb the /pyramid/, preferably from What CD or AnimeBytes cause it's the easiest way.

Because there's only two kinds of encodes: transparent ones and shitty ones. To achieve the sweet spot between transparency and bloated file size is what really defines a good encoder. Every source is different, sometimes it takes a lot of bitrate to get a satisfying result. Best encoders around are on HDB, no doubt. Most AHD ones are decent too but too often have bloated garbage while HD-T fell down and lost the quality encoders they used have. If you still don't understand why, stick to public trackers and YIFY or whatever other garbage they have there.

seedboxes aren't merely 24/7 machines (and it's insane that you're condescending about something you so deeply misunderstand). seedboxes primarily give you access to much faster upload rates so you can satisfyingly seed torrents. most people's ISPs don't give them equal speeds up and down, so even if you have high downstream speeds, seeding from your local connection would be painful (to say nothing of annoying if you were doing anything else that involved uploading).

seedboxes also shield the user from copyright complaints (my university is my ISP and they threaten to block users for something like 2 months on the second offense (universities are generally very harsh with this stuff because they can't risk being perceived as a haven for piracy)).

1) some seedboxes are purely there to shield you from legislation, and the users don't really care about speed. if the provider can sell you much cheaper service just to give you the shielding (and to offset the up/down traffic to just down traffic), why is it so objectionable that people who just want that would use that service?

Still, WCD has much higher standards for quality than JPS. You literally cannot have a torrent replaced if there's a typo in the tags at JPS, and it allows almost every audio format in existence with no quality checking. Plus JPS disallows albums that were made by Asian artist which were first released in the West. Also, the request systems are day and night, JPS has a 50% penalty on making requests and hardly anyone bothers filling them since accumulating upload is so easy, whereas on WCD a decently-sized request will usually get filled within the hour
