What's it like OP? Like nethack where you just try to go deeper and survive? Or does it have quests?
Any other features worth mentioning?

>nethack where you just try to go deeper and survive
Nethack has a very clear goal. You've gotta go down to a certain level, grab a few artifacts on the way, then find a certain thing that takes you to hell/heaven and do some other bullshit including fucking someone up, and then you ascend and become a god.
Or you can go the easy way and just aim to recover the magic amulet, which is technically your main (and only) goal.
Asus and Msi accused of sending out modified 1070/80 to the press.
Is this normal practice?
If you are buying Nvidia or AMD will you still buy from these two manufactures?
http://videocardz.com/61121/asus-and-msi-accused-of-sending-modified-cards-to-the-press
Like that's going to make any difference, and you could just overclock it anyway.
How fucking retarded are you niggers anyway? This is common practice and it's done to be able to differentiate the pre-release cards from retail.
>>55106860
Then why lie in the first place if its no difference? Also my card can OC but I leave it at stock. Not everyone over clocks.
>>55106838
I have no doubt that Nvidia and their partners would like to manipulate reviewers but this is just way too small of a clock speed difference to even be worth the effort. It's a ~1.5% clock speed advantage.

So I just installed chromium a minute ago and what the fuck are these and how do I get rid of them? I literally never visited any on these websites.
They'll disappear and be replaced with your most visited sites when you start using the browser. Companies pay to be placed there by default. Furrycux and Opera have the same thing.

Yeah thanks. Realized I just need to long press on them to get rid of them. Can't believe Reddit is this mainstream now.
>According Damien Triolet, a known and respected GPU reviewer (who, as you might remember, helped to unravel the secrets in GTX 970 memory allocation problem), ASUS and MSI are sending cards with modified BIOSes to the press. Such software enables more power on review samples, which leads to increased frequencies and better results overall.
>The problem was discovered with MSI GTX 1080 GAMING X and ASUS GTX 1070 STRIX, so might want to take reviews of those cards with a grain of salt. Gigabyte on the other hand does not use such practices with its G1 GAMING Series.
>UPDATE: Guys over at TechPowerUP have just confirmed that the problem is present with their MSI sample as well

I don't see anything wrong with this. You can just overclock and reach those speeds anyway. Gigacuck are the dumb ones for NOT doing it.

Jesus fucking christ I hadn't realized it was this bad. Looks like i'm going back to using protable office 2010. Guess I should also start learning how to loonix and gradually switch.
Gradually switching is not the way to go. Dual boot and use it exclusively for a week. You will pick up the majority that you will need to know, then you will see how shit windows is in comparison (except for gaymen).
Just download the xubuntu iso and run it live for a while, check it out, see if you think it's your thing. If you care about Spyware it probably is something you can see the benefits of.
>>55106212
This. However I personally learned the most about linux while using it for a server.
As for distros, here's my few picks:
Xubuntu 14.04 (stable, easy)
Linux Mint 17.3 (stable, even more easy)
Fedora (less stable but more ahead with software versions, and has less systemd-induced issues compared to other distros)
Also do not use Xubuntu (or any Ubuntu) past version 14.04. Their move to systemd has been rather buggy and it won't give you a good time.
>install Word and Excel 2016 because it has a lot of useful new features I could use for work
What are those? I might should try them out, my windows already downloaded the huge ass setup files, it is just waiting for my approval.
