Sorry guys about the delay again. My roommate has been an ass about cleaning the apartment because he "moved out" a couple months ago but never bothered to clean the floors/walls/anything. Still tired as fuck but I will officially be moved out by 12 tomorrow so I'll have a good couple hours to unpack everything.
I fucking love how Fury's personal shield is represented. Gonna steal that and put it in my comic.
Out of all the characters he writes, I feel like Bendis has a good handle on Ultimate Fury. Then again, this might just be heatstroke.
>>94364886
Is this ultimate Galactus?
God do I love Ultimate Pete
>>94364948
Not that I think but I could be mistaken. It's been years since I read Ellis' Ultimate Galactus Series.

Bobby is a straight up G in this issue.
>>94365195
I thought she ran away last issue or two.
I'm really liking this series way more than when I first read it.
Love Ultimate Fury.
>>94365230
That's a good point anon.
Bobby made an ice javelin before he even finished creating ice armor. He's the fuckin man.
>>94365281
Damn Fury the view must be nice from that glass house of yours.
HE FROZE THE ENTIRE ROOM!!! Bobby ain't playin.
He froze the entire house to contain the damage. Bobby is too cool
>>94365281
>people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones
>fury rigs up a Gatling gun and fires.
Damn it Nick. We really need Director Parker now.
>>94365273
I wasn't 100% on where to place these issues and most Bendis issues seem to follow immediately one after the other so finding the break spot is difficult.
>>94365363
I oddly want them to fuck

Unfortunately can't stay around tonight, OP. Got home from work at 11 last night due to shitty boss, stayed late today, and doing paperwork all day tomorrow. Good luck with the move though.

is the Ultimate Universe worth reading if I downloaded it?
>>94364931Reed literally tried to murder Sue. Far as I'm concerned, she's justified in treating him like shit for the rest of the Ultimate line, even when she almost crosses the line much later on
>>94365728
I love you
>>94365915
I would say yes. It definitely has its faults but I think it's a great time capsule of early 2000s that gradually became it's own thing. Modern MCU would not exist if not for Millar's Ultimates and that is not a boast in any way. The stories you find in the Ultimate Universe would ONLY exist in the Ultimate Universe.
>>94365230
This takes place after Bobby moves in but before Chameleon steals Peter's identity.
>>94365983
Yeah some of the stuff I have heard can be down right bad, but I haven't really ever read too much 616. So I feel like I could enjoy it as intended, its own thing. Especially X-Men I know almost next to nothing from 616.
>>94365184
I don't know why, but Ultimate Carol really does it for me. It feels like the perfect role for Carol's personality.

>>94366255
You are not wrong. I think I like 616 Sue's personality more but Ultimate Sue would wreck her shit in.
>>94364713
As fucking stupid as this Fury is, I would still take him in the 616 universe over Fury Jr. any day.

Not gonna lie, first time I read this comic this reveal floored me. Also, is Sue actually smarter than Reed or is he just bullshitting. Maybe she was smarter initially, but his stretching powers allowed him to physically stretch out his brain and drastically increase his intelligence.
>>94367349

Alright guys, honest question. Without devolving into Bendis memes, how do you feel about him as a writer?
>Good Titles
New Avengers Vol. 1
Daredevil
Ultimate Spider-Man (Peter)
Jessica Jones
Jinx, Torso, & Goldfish
>Bad Titles
Spider-Man (Miles)
Mighty Avengers vol. 1
Brillaint
Guardians of the Galaxy
All-New X-Men
Uncanny X-Men
Scarlet (this series really rubs me the wrong way)
Invincible Iron Man (Riri - she's a smug cunt).
Avengers Dissasembled
>Inoffensive Titles
Avengers Vol. 4
New Avengers Vol. 2
Moon Knight (it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be).
United States of Murder
Invincible Iron Man (Tony)
Secret Invasion
>Surprsing Titles
Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles)
Infamous Iron Man
Dark Avengers (I love this way more than I should have but realize it's not for everyone).

>suffers from some of the same weaknesses of other authors like waifuism and self insert, not the best at controlling these tendencies.
>can do good under these situations.
>>94368157
Sue you know what his power is, that's a bad move on your part.
>>94368113
This was a very good and well crafted response. I agree with everything you posted. Stick him on a title he legitimately enjoys with minimal crossovers and he'll produce so really solid work. He's great with teens and every now and again he hones in a particular character and really gets what makes them tick. His adherence to continuity is a goddamn disgrace though, even the continuity that he himself contributed. I'm not sure he's the kinda person to have a series bible on hand but I could be wrong.
>>94368157
You know, I see this twist less as "Reed is butthurt he got dumped and went bad," and a little more as "Reed is an autistic sociopath who's always been a step away from villainy whose only real restraints were his friends."
He made Johnny drink his pee.
>>94368022
Jesus Christ Reed
>>94368344

That was hilarious though. And it wasn't pee at that point. It was ordinary water...but it had been pee....

>>94369198

>>94369165
Whats the differences? Why is Sue bad?
Ok I'll bite. Why do so many people hate Ultimate Sue? She's been pretty awesome in this event, and she was awesome whenever she showed up in Ultimate Spidey. I don't get it
And this is going to be my final issue for the night. The next issue #150 is close to a hundred pages so there's no way in hell I could finish it in this thread and I despise stopping a story mid issue.
Once I'm completely moved out of my old place (12PM tomorrow) I can then focus on unpacking and doing lots and lots and lots of laundry. Also I should be able to start earlier than I've been doing.
>>94369289

>>94369657
It's weird how Ben is the only one affected by this. Sue got over it quickly after the initial shock, and Johnny immediately went after him with no difficulty. It's weird.
If this were the 616 FF, all 3 of the members would be reacting like Ben if Reed finally snapped and went full villain. While here only Ben has hurt and sympathy
>>94369684
I feel like he's still capable of writing good comics. I know this isn't the most popular of opinions but I'm really liking Infamous Iron Man and look forward to each new issue. Riri though can drown in a lake for all I care.
