Not going to lie, I'm honestly pretty underwhelmed by these stories. They were so much better the first go around. Now they just seem boring. I hope Superior is as wild of a ride as I remember.

Recently he did interiors for an issue of Gillen's X-Men, covers for nearly all of X-Men Legacy vol. 2, interiors for Elektra, and is now doing interiors for Waid's Avengers run. I'm seeing hate for his Avengers stuff but I'd much rather the frontline books look weird and unique than they all be boring as hell like pre-NOW was.

I am so glad that I decided to storytime Avening instead of Amazing. Partially because I think it's a better written series. Also because in about two issues we were going to arrive at the "Ends of the Earth" and we all know how that turned out.

I'm not sure if anybody watches this guy, but I find that he manages to offer a careful critique of comics without coming across as pretentious which is a feat in an of itself. His Steve Dillon video I thought was particularly well done.

How's the Spider-Man and Deadpool Joe Kelly series? I remember loving hid AMazing Spider-Man issues but I haven't ready anything from him recently. Once Slott took over I didn't see any more Kelly issues.....WHICH IS A GODDAMN TRAGEDY!

Kuder draws a terrifying Goblin. Also his entire Rogues Gallery looks pretty sick. I now really really want Kuder on an ongoing Spider-Man. If I could choose anyone in the world to write it, my three choices would be:
1. Mark Millar
>I thought his Marvel Knights Spider-Man was great. It was a tight 12 issue series that managed to pay tribute to a large amount of his rogues gallery while still highlighting the relationship between Peter and Norman. The last page on issue 12 has me dying every time I read it.
2. Joe Kelley
>Amazing Spider-Man #617 & 625 had me in tears by the end of it.
3. Landry Q. Walker
>This choice was extremely difficult because I wasn't really satisfied with many other of the big names. THen I remembered a series I had read recently called Danger Club and I thought that had a pretty nice mix of humor, action, and drama, with a pretty firm handling on a wide cast of characters, all of which would be essential for a Spider-Man comic (his supporting cast is one of his greatest attributes).

I now have to go back and watch The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I remember downloading the leaked version from Youtube and I remember enjoying it. Maybe I'm wearing super nostalgia goggles. I maintain that the first two Raimi movies stand up today. Both Dafoe and Molina turn in expert performances in a movie directed by one of the greats. I don't think I've seen any director manage to recreate the speactacle of web slinging in the way Raimi did.
