Is that a good or bad idea? What are your thoughts if a creator of a comic series put themselves in the universe and they're a fully-developed character?
Pic unrelated

Like what, Whomp! and Ronnie's other thing? I don't really like it, I prefer when they hide their self-insert.
I'm fine if it's a "cameo" for comedy.
>>78246353
"What are your thoughts if a creator of a comic series put themselves in the universe...?"
surely the only rule should be does it work or not?
>>78246353
stan lee is the only who I've seen that doesn't do it in an overtly obnoxious way
maybe hirsch too but people have the hack meme as of late so I didn't want to mention it
Why is Irma such a terrible character?
You know who was great? This asshole.
>>78245102
>>78245102
2012 Irma was too good for this world.
PIZZAZZ DESERVES TO BE YOUR WAIFU!
She may not be perfect but she's endearingly flawed and thoroughly gorgeous on top of that. She deserves your love.
can you PLEASE get a fucking life
>>78245011
You can't just force a waifu, friend. She chooses you and that's that.
>>78245017
shoo shoo !
How can these two move around the Earth Kingdom without being recognized? Literally the most recognizable duo in the whole world.
They cut their hair
>>78243192
they live in a world where the internet didn't exist and photographs hadn't been invented yet, not to mention that information traveled a lot slower.

And yet everyone and their dog knows A. What Airbender tattoos look like, and B. That the next avatar was even supposed to be an Airbender.
No one has seen one is a hundred years. Further, why would some random peasants know the Avatar cycle? Frankly, so many people know things they have no business knowing anyway that it's a valid question.
IF YOU COULD BREATHE UNDERWATER, WHERE WOULD YOU GO???
No where, because the ocean is a terrifying place.
There was this one episode of the Snorks where I think the rich kid built or had control of his own school, and all the other students went there, and when he was mad at any of them they'd be put in like, a cell. Behind bars.
I got this weird perverse thrill about caging the pretty girls who didn't like me and had intense fantasies about it and tried to scheme ways to get my own school where I could make this happen.
I was five.
So, yeah, good memories of The Snorks.

What do you think about this movie?
Nothing positive.
It was
As 90's as it could get, I think. Frankly one of the more underrated black superheroes. That being said, it seemed like Spawn was always doing nothing but trying to rehash its own origin story instead of showing us the neat stuff. I always found it hilarious that a movie like Spawn mentions a man who sold his soul to Satan fighting against the Devil, yet a decade later we had become so much of a passive aggressive theocracy that we couldn't even give the Doom movie its actual setting.
Why can't heroes from Earth-3/the Antimatter Universe get an ongoing or a miniseries?
Or even a cameo?
Or a passing mention.
I'll take about anything at this point.
How did you enjoy the end of Reboot /co/?
Story time now. Please and thank you.
>>78239816
Christ you don't request story times. It ends with Mark telling the tentacle monster to fuck off and he travels back to an unaltered present only to find that 5 or so years have passed and Terra has grown.
Fuck you.
>>78239947
Well that was just mean, anon. It's also not back until April
Now that we're getting Muslim characters in comics, when are we going to get more Hindu characters like this?
I didn't want to feel OP ;_;

>Lobell fucked up Solstice
Ill never forgive him for that.
>>78239295
Solstice was delightful and Lobdell made her grim and then gave her Worst End with space terrorist Bar-Torr. Fuck.

you mean DONUT?
so a lot of people often talk about the impact of digital sales, which are never released to anyone but comic companies, and say that print sales still dominate the conversation. many people bring it up when it comes to books that don't sell many floppies.
so i thought it would be worth showing off the top digital sales of the day after release, to get an idea of what's most popular.
for instance: Robin War books are doing exceptionally well, while last week's B&R Eternal is in 6th. There's a few Star Wars comics on the listing because of a digital sale, but Walking Dead and Secret Wars dominate the top next to Batman.
what do people think of digital in general?
>>78237673
>what do people think of digital in general?
If it's the same price as the physical copy, it's not worth getting.
>>78237673
I've extensively tried them but prefer paper comics.
What's your favorite Christmas special, /co/?
(Yes, Christmas episodes of /co/-related shows count.)
Does this panel count?
