Jesus I forgot how much this makes me sick.

might not be the worst case of an author trying to legitimize their fetish as a life style but its a contender.

Well, looks like it's waifu butt time.
Glad to see that Preston's still around
And wow it was amazing! This is up there with GotG and Winter Soldier. Seriously such a good movie. Loved the guy who played Louis, Douglas and Rudd's performances. Soundtrack was top notch too. The fights scenes were great too, loved how they used the shrinking ability in it.
Why does it have such a low rating on IMDb though? (7.5)
>>78378636
Because it followed Age of Ultron, which left a bad taste in everyone's mouth
>>78378636
Yeah it was a good movie
I just watched it again recently,
Jesus Christ, Scott Lang's family are cunts. He wasn't some jackass, gangbanger, or asshole with a double life. He was a misguided 'robin hood' trying to stand up for others. Sure, he fucked up by committing criminal activity and putting a strain on his family, but everybody in that household is really emotionally manipulative, treating him like he's morally bankrupt.
>He loves his daughter enough to put up with this shit from his ex, just to see her and be in her life
It's kind of sad. No moral support from them at all until the end of the movie.
How many people do you think he's killed, /co/?
None.
Firebenders ain't people.
Fitty men.
I have a better question, why do he and Suki have the same haircut?
Why the Canadians so fucking bad at making cartoons?

We all know that comics and cartoons often fail at creating female characters that can actually be threatening. What female characters actually seem intimidating to you? Pic is my choice.
Did they ever catch that bitch or is she still on the loose?

What does /co/ think of this show?
>Reddit and memey
Why are you asking. Do you want a legitimate opinion and or review? Have you seen it and just want to know or are you thinking about it and just want to hear about it first?
If you came here for either you're in the wrong place. This thread will dissolve into shitposting about ebin and reddit with a few honest opinions scattered about the actual show.
But heyI'll throw you a bone
It's good. The animation takes some getting used to, some episodes can be very hit or miss and the same goes for the jokes but overall the writing and characters are done well and it has some genuine commentary on real life issues and situations that some shows often have a hard time covering without being overly comedic or serious. More often than not it hits it's mark.
Give it a watch, after three or so episodes if you don't enjoy it drop it. Simple as that.

It's a good show. The people who hate it have weird reasons for hating it, like a disdain for the fanbase, which is never a good reason for disliking anything.
The art style is meh (Summer's design is especially terrible) and sometimes the burping and stuttering thing is a little overdone. Those are my only complaints.

Tom hit the nail right on the head. Most of these chapters that prompt /co/ to complain about poor pacing are chapters that read well once they're complete.

Robot's not the only one looking more human.
Is a robot wanting to fuck a shadow gay?
Because if so it's about to get pretty gay in here.
Can we just have a general thread about comics we really dig?
We spend so much time talking about bullshit we hate, let's just talk about our favorite series and maybe suggest some good shit.
I honestly just love comic books, and I want to share that love.
I'll start. Concrete is a series I love and admire. It's unique and quaint, but adventurous, character driven, and exploratory.
Tell me about the comics that make you love comics.

Just looked it up/keeping seeing it in the win-o pastebin.
Looks really unique and read. Downloading now, will probably jump into after Nexus. Thanks anon.

For fans of Transmetropolitan, this is a series that just started that is perfect if you follow politics at all. 2016 election might actually have some sort of megademon involved.

My self insert in a story I am writing. He even has my name and everything. Not many people like him in the story, though, since he tends to be a loner and not in the Shadow the Hedgehog or mysterious handsome looking kind of way.
>>78377135
Nihilistic, sure, but I don't think Penance has any sort of humor, let alone wicked.
Was this the moment you knew Amazing Spider-Man was absolute mediocrity?
Around the same time I realized that Bat Comics are complete trash, why OP?
>>78376687
Yup. For all the flack the Raimi Spider-Man films get for having silly things in them, The Amazing Spider-Man had a bunch of shit in it that was absolutely clown-shoes, this being the apex of it.
The first time I saw the lizard-rat, I couldn't fucking stop laughing.
When the construction workers assembled like a damn superhero team and somehow had a straight line to Oscorp
I was recently re-reading Gail Simone's Wonder Woman run (I forgot how much I loved it), and the "Ends of the Earth" storyline had me thinking about those sword and sorcery-type characters Simone brought back. I was never that interested in the genre (Never cared much for Conan, Game of Thrones, D&D, whatever), but the characters seemed cool and got me wanting to read more about them.
It looks like DC had Stalker, Claw, and their version of Beowulf in some really short-lived series in the '70s (probably killed by the DC Implosion, I presume). There was also a few Amethyst: Princess of Gem World series, and that recent "Sword of Sorcery" series that brought Amethyst and some of these other guys back.
How were these? Should I track them down? What would you recommend?
Amethyst and Warlord are both fucking awesome
>>78376842
All volumes of Amethyst, or a particular one?
Oh yeah, I forgot about Warlord. I love Grell's Green Arrow stuff, so his other goatee guy comic should also be good.
Come to think of it, Simone used Skataris in a Secret Six storyline. I guess she has a sword-and-sorcery fetish?
>>78377007
>All volumes of Amethyst, or a particular one?
The first 80s volume is great, and I did like the new 52 Sword of Sorcery
Yeah I like Grell GA a lot and Warlord is fantastic
Simone did use Skartaris, I'm guessing she's a fan
