Can we talk about how shit marvel is now?
I think that they are willing to do about any book as long as they can sell.
I mean, pic related has to be the most obvious cashgrab that I have seen in recent years outside of Civil War 2.
Why is Marvel so focused on the tumblr demographic these days? They aren't even buying their shitty books!
>>82798404
Now? Marvel's been shit for a long time.
>>82798480
I personally think that five years ago Marvel maybe didn't had as many interesting books but the universe in itself felt more solid and cohesive than what we have today.

Practically anything Gwen is a cashgrab
6 seasons and a movie
ok guys, post that porn

>theater filled mostly by 30-something men with tissue boxes
Wait, is there a new film coming out?
It's shocking that this show stuck around this long.
>Superman loses his powers
>Superman can't control his powers
>Superman turns evil
>heat vision eyes to look scary/badass
I would rather read a hundred stories about Kryptonite than deal with any of this shit ever again.
Doesn't krytonite cause most of this shit?

Are you sure you wouldn't like yet another grim deconstruction of his archetype instead?
What if the author gave you a ten minute interview about how they find Superman boring and they want to breathe life into him by doing something new and refreshing, like turning him evil, because that's never been explored before?
Yeah that's what you want. We're going to give you that.

how about:
superman gives everyone people cancer with x-ray
?
I remember when Ang Lee's Hulk would often come up in discussion of worst comic book superhero movies of all time.
Is it really that bad?
It's pretty bad. Though not as bad as Catwoman or Batman v Robin.
I think Ang Lee's Hulk is probably the best live-action adaptation we've gotten of the Hulk. I like how Hulk is portrayed as something legitimately frightening, instead of just big green guy who yells and punches bad guys.

No.
I think its better than probably 70% of capeshit to be quite honest, my man.
You can feel that its stitched up of 20 different scripts, but its pretty good. I will never understand the bitching about the CGI. It looks great, especially for 13 years ago.
Who else thought these were severely underrated?
Based Yost/Kyle Canadian adaptions.

I watched the FF cartoon a ton because it was always on late at night, and I think I started liking it out of familiaritysame thing happened with The Cramp wins, so that's no indicator of its quality.
Stupid how Johnny was mentally a child, but otherwise pretty entertaining.
A solid 7/10.
FF had an unfitting art style but it was fun.
IM was fine in the first season but the writing turned to shit in the second season.
What are your thoughts on Moana /co/?
Not thicc enough.

Do you prefer them white, gold, or nonexistent?
And if you choose one of the first two, glow or no glow?
>>82796746
I thought it was a helmet
>>82796746
Either white or gold, no preference. I only like them to glow in the darkness though.
>>82796746
Gold. But I also like when it glows slightly blue.
Who's the best girl from TMNT, in your honest opinion?
Honestly, Mona Lisa
80s April is a close second though
It's clear to me who the best is.

how is this not cancelled yet?
Nothing Adult Swim has produced has been anywhere close to Space Ghost's quality.
Venture Bros, The Boondocks, ATHF, Frisky Dingo, Harvey Birdman, and Morel Orel are all contenders for their best.
>>82797477
Don't forget about Sealab
The first two can work if the character is supposed to look obnoxiously colorful, but you need a very grounded cast to contrast it.
While the artist lacks the skill to understand things like proportionality and consistency, the basic design of this werewolf CAN work.Too bad every other design she makes is shit and she doesn't even use the damn werewolf.
>>82796232
She should've cashed in with Jiji instead but she got hung up over her not being a porn OC any more.
That said, I'd still hit it.

I won't deny that most people would read for the fapbait, but werewolf-chan could easily support her own comic...and would honestly be a huge improvement over the comic she currently puts out.
You've got a character that's at least mildly aesthetically pleasing as the protagonist and werewolves and college life is a good juxtaposition that allows for fun, creative scenarios. The story would end up actually being focused if it only had a single, central protagonist and even though she would totally botch the concept the character art would at least end up more consistent since she'd be unable to constantly abandon major characters for months at a time.
I can't think of another situation where pandering to furries would actually make a story better, this shit is fascinating.
What non-big2 comics are you currently reading if any?
Jem and the Holograms, Paper Girls, Giant Days & Tomboy.
I should be reading a lot more.
I've been reading some marc bell comics
rn mainly just Island. Wicked and Divine and Paper Girls I'm getting monthly. Been reading and enjoying Deadly Class in trades.
also working through Cerebus but only like 20 issues in
Still care about me, /co/?
Overall I still think this is the best superhero movie but as a trilogy cap's blows it out of the water

Yes but I can't say it loudly because of Nolan haters and usual /tv/ shitposters
In retrospect, these super apologetic comic book movies are kind of absurd. You could argue that it was necessary after Schumacher's Batman, but it still comes off as desperate and a little embarrassing. I grew up loving Begins and TDK, but all this time later, it's kind of hard to go back to and take seriously. Especially living in a post-Rises world; that movie had me really disillusioned about Nolan. He's exclusively formulaic and pretentious, despite often having a ridiculous premise. I saw how he does his magic trick, and it's not magic anymore. Also the SWAT guy in the van talks way too fucking much.
