When a universe has specific rules and then a character shows up in that universe and then disregards reality despite being in a completely different one without actually having reality bending powers

I've read every current Valiant issue so far. Except for this and last weeks'. I'm going to buy 4001 AD, and I haven't found the time to pirate the others.Yet here I am in 4chan, I know. I'll go back to work.

Oh, if you want to do what I did and read everything, I recommend doing so by release date. Here's a handy table of every issue so far.

Not everything's a must read though. A lot of people skip on Shadowman, for example. I mostly enjoyed it though.

Also planning on reading classic Valiant. Read a few issues, but I want to go through all of it too.

I thought that Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics was pretty decent. His others were fairly good, although not necessarily immediately relevant. The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams is a big thick tome which, while geared towards animation, can give you ideas for character poses.

I'm not familiar with the book you posted. I could be informative, or it could be a waste of time. I'm honestly not sure what the history of webcomics specifically would have to offer. I would think that general information would be more relevant for a potential webartist, although I suppose the book might offer some insights or information that I'm not aware of.

The renegade doctor in authority killed three countries in alphabetical order. Also he went back in time during a fight and interposed himself as the engineers doctor when she was a little girl and molested her so shed realize it during the fight In the present. Say what you will, he's a good example of a villain who turns good. He stays a huge asshole but slowly warms up to the other characters. He still shows his old tendencies, but also shows that he has grown past them and as a person...sorta. I haven't watched Super, so if he's shit in that, I dunno.

I'd say Steampunk, in all but a few cases.
Neckbeards dressing like girls can be amusing when they're full bear mode and dressed as someone like Sailor Moon.
Gender swaps are good when there's a group with someone for both genders. Like that male Elsa needs a male Anna and a female Hans.
Star Wars is similar to steampunk in this regard, but not as overt.

All the people complaining it about being annoying are actually pretty annoying themselves so really if you want to see if you like this, sit down and watch it.

Very hit and miss.

Some episodes are actually hilarious while others are fucking awful. And some are just okay.

It's got a very inconsistent level of quality.
