>comics will never be fun again
You gotta read better comics, OP.
>>84827834
This. There's plenty of fun comics out there right fucking now.
>Hannibal Buress will walk into your room
This isn't Barry Allen.
This isn't even Wally West.
This is god damn fucking Cisco Ramon from the CW TV show.
What the actual fuck. What were they thinking?
Warner literally has no fucking idea what they're doing. Between this and the shitty tacticool armor, this might be the worst Flash adaptation EVER.
But of course you fucking shills will defend it. Not like they just raped your favorite cape hero right in front of you or anything...
What should barrys personality from the comic be like?
>>84827186
Anything but a fucking quipmaster contrary to popular belief.
Barry used to be more analytical and serious.
Not this god damn faggot.
>>84827073
I see nothing here but yet another autistic tantrum blog post
How could the equalists from LoK been written better? I like them well enough, but I know they could have been expanded and explained as a movement better, I'm just not sure how. Any ideas?
You scrap the idea of the Equalists entirely and you start over with a better high power
The Sato New World Order
>>84826522
For starters ditch the 'Amon is actually a bender' reveal. If he's actually a bender have him martyr himself and let Korra murder him basically. Have the Equalists play a part in ongoing seasons.
I recall my idea for a Equalist guy who quits the group but keeps the martial arts he learned and some equalist tech and uses it to go vigilante on mobsters leading into an awkward relationship with a earthbending girl whose family business he saves.
>>84826522
Show why the existence of bending is a good thing. We're shown examples of it being used to hurt people, but almost zero examples of it being a positive thing. This makes it hard to be upset than Amon is taking it away.
How did The Secret Life of Pets beat Ghostbusters (2016)?
>>84826333
has anyone here actually seen it? i did and it was so fucking generic. i think i chuckled once or twice
Mediocrity is better than shit.
It's actually not braindead and retarded, for one.
It actually looks nice, and from the trailers, it's pretty good.
What did he mean by this? I thought Carnage was supposed to be from Brooklyn.
>>84826279
Carnage is a batshitfucking insane orphan so who knows
His name is Cletus.
>>84826279
>thought he was from Brooklyn
He is
It's a meme started by AXIS because his name is Cletus
Was this blood or melted candlewax?
Red Candle wax?
Didn't really think it was anything, just artsy theme song shit.
>>84825985
Blood-like melted candle wax
>Kills a midget henchman by throwing onto spikes
>Still refuse to kill the joker and instead offers him a chance of redemption and rehabilitation after all these years of suffering
why?
>>84825924
because they shit the bed and cut Joker looking into the funhouse mirrors

STATUS QUO
Seriously though, I always hate that apparently it's okay to kill mooks and the no-names, but when it's some mass murdering war criminal that does have a name (or has boobs), they're instead detained. They could kill the mooks in the most brutal ways, like when Captain America literally dumps a vat of acid onto some HYDRA agents, but when vs. named character? "You're under arrest!"
>>84825924
Did you see that Henchman's death certificate? Didn't think so.
since every fucking character is getting one why not
>>84825624
Carnage, or Carnage-Man?
Only one of these is a correct answer.
>>84825624
pg13 Carnage would suck.
Cuz why the fuck not
I bet they don't bring up the rampant murder or Bat-branding even once in the JL movie, instead hoping that we forget all about it.
Can we get a thread of characters doing fucking awful things that are never, ever brought up or called out again? I'm curious to see how often writers use the "pretend it never happened" strategy.
>>84825531
>bat brand is a death sentence in prison
>most of those guys are already in jail because of Batman
>Batman threatens to mark Lex, who'll go to Arkham anyway
>literally everyone in Arkham is in there because of Batman
This was the shittiest fucking movie, my god.
>Can we get a thread of characters doing fucking awful things that are never, ever brought up or called out again?
Pretty much every comic character familia
[spoiler[Except Hank Pym[/spoiler]
>>84825640
Why do I have feeling people brought up Hank Pym, the Wifebeater more than Hank Pym, Ultron Maker?
If you were a superhero, would you kill supervillains?
Is killing supervillains in my universe OK?
>>84825433
Depends if they keep escaping desu
I'd probably take a few out, sure. Though I'd try not to make it obvious, I don't really want that reputation. I just think that some people are too dangerous to live and if I can fix that then I probably should. The ones who can go through the legal system, they probably don't need to die.
Is anyone else super hyped for this? It looks like they're doing a healthy blend of source material while staying pretty true to 616. Tom Holland was great in Civil War and I can already that this is going to be the best Spider-Man film yet!
Concept art. Love the face in the Vulture's wings and the collar. The Spidey suit is fantastic
>>84825214
I'm excited for the chance to see Peter interact with other characters from his highschool years. Instead of just Harry, MJ and Gwen
>>84825214
I want to fuck Tom. Just watched his interview from the SDCC and jacked off. I have no idea why he's doing this to me.
ITT We pretend we're in the DCEU
>>84824989
i can't say anything because superman killed me by punching zod/doomsday/batman into a building
>>84824989
Pretend as much as you want the Bat-monster is out there.
I'm getting out of gotham, gonna go move into the country.
Bane?
>Teen Titans relaunching
>Tanya Spears not on the roster
>officially in limbo
I'm mad as fuck. Tanya thread.
Don't worry, she'll be brought back to beef up the Titan kill count later.
She is too poisoned by being attached to the shitty new 52 era team, otherwise they would use her since it's clearly a minority heavy roster they're going for.
>>84824849
I kinda liked her and Bunker but yeah if they ever show up again they're going to die
Can anyone explain to me why Cyborg couldn't have been mostly practical effects with just a small amount of CG?
Better yet, can anyone explain to me why Cyborg's CG makes him look like a character from a Gamecube game? It looks fucking terrible.
>>84824801
The movie is a year and a half away.
It's impressive they had enough done to make a trailer at all
>>84824801
I don't actually think it looks bad, at all.
>>84825029
>It's impressive they had enough done to make a trailer at all
What?
First of all, no it isn't. The filming for the trailer happened long before the actual shoots began.
Second, that has dick to do with Cyborg looking like ten tons of shit. That is not acceptable CG for a movie in 2016, especially considering it wasn't necessary to make his prosthetics CG at all. It's a terrible choice that's going to impact the quality of the film.
