Does that visor serve any purpose? Does it come off, or is it part of her skin?
>>85528675
Gems don't have skin. They are hard light projections.
If I pull that off, will she die?
>>85528699
Wtf is Steven then if he's supposed to be part human? Is he a flesh-light mixture?
The over abundance of Robins has been becoming more of a problem.
For Tim Drake in particular, should comic writers write him out of existence? Have his backstory fused with Jason Todd?
As clunky as the new series has been, I like Batman Beyond's solution of banishing him to the far future. Reminds me what they did with Supergirl back in the Justice League series
>>85528495
It's so disappointingredients what happened to Tim. He was popular for years. I mean he was in several books and had a solo book that lasted about 10 years. He then had an awesome transition to Red Robin back when Bruce was in the past and I thought he was going to become a full fledged justice leaguer of his own. Then the new 52 happened. The new 52 ruined him
>>85528495
he should lead the Teen Titans
Where they wrong with Tim was killing his dad and having his only book be Teen Titans. He's the normal guy self insert Robin, he needs a solo where he's dealing with girls and school and Peter Parker type shit.
What's really weird is they made him Beyond, which also had a big focus on that sort of thing, and then did nothing of the sort.
To me, my X-Men;_;
Dat filename.
Not the best costume.
Is Cylcops the only /co/ character without one shit costume design?
>>85528938
Dick Grayson has a good track record, though I guess the new 52 Robin costume is pretty ugly.
Why didn't they tell Dale the truth about Joseph?
>>85528106
Because they care more about what's best for Dale's happiness.
>>85528106
Sometimes it's better to live your life without ever knowing something.
For example, I could have gone my whole life without knowing what a colossal faggot you are and I would have been better off for it.
>>85528154
This basically.
He's already a paranoid wreck.
I am a HUGE fan of Man-Thing. What are some top-tier stories including the OG swamp monster?
>>85527680
>Lame ass Man-Thing
>Not Best Swampers
>>85527680
DeMatteis's Man-Thing and Parker's Thunderbolts.
>>85527925
I would take Gerber's Man-Thing over any Swamp Thing run a million times over.
>>85527925
Not denying he's cool, but I already have his best stories
Why hasn't /co/ compiled a Top 100 or Top 50 best Graphic Novels / Trade Paperbacks?
/lit/ has managed to make multiple top 100 lists, and despite some obvious meme'ing here and there, it's a lot better than most lists online.
>>85527632
Too much work
>>85527632
Comics are awful
>>85527632
>Blood Meridian
>Number Five
Doesn't /lit/ hate Blood Meridian though? I guess that's where the memeing comes from then.
Fear not, True Believers! Tom King's Vision will return in Civil War #8 by Eisner Award Winning Creator Brian Michael Bendis!Who wants to bet Bendis writes his next ongoing anyway?
>>85527445
>>85527547
King knew, this is the real reason why he signed the DC exclusive
>>85527445
>Vision gets removed from the Multiverse at the end of his ongoing as the biggest enemy of mankind
>Casually walks into the next Bendis comic the following month
I can see it.
But really, I'm hoping King has enough sense to retcon most of his ongoing himself to avoid such a scenario.
How will they handle scenes where characters talk underwater?
Voice over
>>85526998
They'll spend 75% of the movie in an underground city with indoor buildings like that city from the BioShock game, or otherwise up on dry land and out of the ocean
>>85527113
I could see this happening, kinda like Naboo in Phantom Menace. Or just put a really strong blue filter over the top.

How long will it last?
We did have a thread yesterday when it was first released.
August is pretty much a gimmie for DC with Harley, Suicide Squad, and All-Star Batman. And no Civil War 2.
It's probably going to level off to similar levels that the New 52 had.
>>85527435
no, dc is gonna win this time
Wonder Woman and Justice League are doomed, Batman and Aquaman have a chance, but what about the Flash? Is there hope that his movie won't suck?
From what (very) little I've seen, I'm not impressed. The idea that him using the speedforce throws lightning that damages shit everywhere just seems stupid. Combined with the.... suit.... thing he apparently has to wear to time travel, ehh.....
his suit looks like if you combined Iron Man and Cap's suits
and that crotch plate is fucking silly
I'm going to come out and say it.
Initially, I was worried about Ezra Miller as the Flash, but honestly after the JL trailer and his cameo in SS, I think he'd actually make for a good Barry.
The problem is, this is still going to be a DCEU movie, and we all know how those go. This isn't going to be very good probably.
Honestly, our best bet is probably Shazam.
So, I've seen all the preludes and the first 3 "episodes" (5 minute clips) of Transformers: Combiner Wars, and I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. I love that they are using designs that are closer to the original G1 designs than any other cartoon that has come out since...well... G1, but that's about where the list of "the good" stops for this show.
The voice acting is terrible (somehow they even made Peter Cullen sound pretty crappy) as are all the special effects sounds. The dialog is trash, and the story so far is quite poor (details like how windblade is able to murder a combiner rather easily, a scope on a gun that goes around corners, where the combiners even came from or why exactly they are a problem [why are they fighting eachother?]).
I wasnt expecting the greatest show ever, but it is so much worse than I'd hoped.
What is /co/'s thoughts on this?
>>85526672
>designs that are closer to the original G1 designs
>good
Yeah whatever
>>85526672
It's pretty bad so far, I like the designs actually but everything else literally makes no sense Windblade's one character trait is being a racist. That seems to be a trend with Windblade having one character trait like in the comics being a mary sue, in combiners being a robo racist and in legends being a bimbo the writers seriously have no idea with what they want to do with her.
Also Prime's lines "What Where" in the most monotone voice I've heard in a while.
>>85526939
Do you prefer stuff like this?
what does /co/ see?
everything stays the same

Bojack's career and life make no sense. So you're basically telling me that this guy who lives in a fucking mansion in LA with ANOTHER person who doesn't pay for their expenses has only had THREE (3) roles in their entire career (Horsin' Around, The Bojack Horseman Show, and Secretariat)? (I guess there's also Ethan Around, but eh)
How the fuck does that work?! How can he afford to live there? How can he afford all his expenses AND Todd's expenses? How do people even remember who he is and offer him work when I've seen actors with way more roles become literally whos?
I know it's a show, and it's not real, and suspension of disbelief, and blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda, but c'mon, the whole point is being a satire of Hollywood, you could at least try a little.
A successful sitcom would earn him more than enough money to live the rest of his life off of.
We also know he invested a good portion of it. The restaurant, for example.
Horsin' Around was huge. It was ran for 9 years and made a shitload of money. Think about the royalties Bojack makes from syndication alone. To use a real life example Jerry Seinfeld makes obscene money from the reruns of Seinfeld. It's not unrealistic in the least.
Makes me wonder if Bob Saget or any of the other Full House peeps got rich off of that
Adult Swim has always been on the cutting edge of comedy
>>85526213
Yes they acquired cancelled animated sitcoms back in the early days because they were cheap to air and AS didn't have enough original content to fill time.
>>85526400
Choose a different image, you fuck.
>>85526213
this was cutting edge

Assault on Arkham or Suicide Squad?
>>85526198
AOA
>>85526198
Suicide Squad the movie to be specific. Not the comics. I should've clarified.
Assault on Arkham hands down.
