We're there any other good animated movies for 2016, or was Zootopia the only one worth watching?
>>89127062
Kubo and the Two Strings
>>89127071
That reminds me that Kubo is getting a Japan-release. Wonder if it'll do well over there.
Trolls was bizarrely good, considering it's a toy ad packed with pop celebrities and licensed songs. Somehow they made it work. It's on par with the first two Shreks, easy.
Can somebody clarify what this show is? There are a few instances of people mentioning it aired in some foreign countries back in 2014, and /co/ had exactly one thread about it back in 2015, but the YouTube channel and the facebook page are posting stuff as if its new and in development. Did the show actually air before, or has it just been in development all of this time?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K6_SlayVvE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFm-3t-UKAg
They posted this on New Year's Day, for example, and regularly post every few days. But the only videos I can find are 1-3 minute trailers. The stuff on the website seems to have been there for years. Despite all of this, and how seemingly obscure it is, the show has a decent amount of fan art. It's confusing me.
Did anyone else feel bad for Shaggy? I mean don't Velma and Scooby know that making a guy choose between two people he loves is extremely difficult and kind of a dickish position to put him in? Also, why couldn't he just choose both?
>why couldn't he just choose both?
Because neither would tolerate it. Velma outright asked him to choose (and threw a bitchfit when she didn't get what she wanted).
Because both were dicks.
And Shaggy had no issues when Scooby had an interest in that one dog I think.
>>89127082
I agree they were both being dicks, but Velma was so much more than Scooby. Especially since she started the whole thing and forced the issue.
HEY GRANDMA CAN YOU COME OUT AND PLAY
>>89126586
No because ofMY LEGSSS
I'm surprised this show is still so successful. It has a ton of episodes and a ton of toys, and was recently renewed for another season. Anybody here actually have reason to watch it?
>>89126522
They've added several characters over the years. A GI Joe type joined their rescue team in season two, I believe, even if he got rid of his military attire. A lady fox EMT joined them in the most recent season.
>Anybody here actually have reason to watch it?
Doc.
>>89126744
All I'm saying is /co/ watches a lot of shit. Even things for babies. Yet this show never seems to get mentioned. I find that curious.
This thread is for Image's/Rucka's series Lazarus, a soft sci-fi dystopian future that is a libertarian's dream gone wrong.
Discuss the comic, rumored tv series on the horizon, etc.
I really hate the art.
Shameless self-bump
Love this series.
Now that the dust has settled, can we all agree that the first half was good, and the second half was utter shit?
>inb4 b-but the end set up Rebirth
Still an awful way to go at it
The second half was confusing and had me reread several pages to figure out whta just happened many times. Some great character moments though, loved the Hal/Bruce and Barry/Jessica stuff.
>>89125634
are ya gonna story time it?
>>89125903
Ahah, no, I ain't gonna storytime it. I buy everything I read, soooo... Not big on having digital files on my computer.
Also, it really ends up being disappointing.
>>89125729
Hal/Bruce interactions were the most developed, but that was all.
Diana's thoughts were dull and her commentaries amounted to nothing.
The 5 last issues are basically a collection of "Oh shit" DBZ moments, where some big evil comes, and gloats, and then gets rekt instantly by another "even more powerful" big evil, who gets rekt even more 5 seconds later by another, etc...
Really, it's a child's way of writing a story.
Fabok's art can be confusing, but I personaly love it.
Why does Jane have such a huge ass?
Arent the dresses in that age lined with metal? Or wiring to keep it up like that
It's a bustle.
>>89125508
it's called a bustle, they're essentially a large bundle of fabric worn at the back of a skirt to make their ass look bigger, popular in Victorian time
I've heard people say that Snyder's Batman was derivative of Morrison's run. In what ways is that true? Also, general Morrison vs Snyder Batman thread.
Okay everybody!
Let's all get ready to play... NAME THAT ARC!
For the first round:
Batman vs a secret society that has operated in Gotham without Batman's knowledge for centuries, headed up by a man who claims to be named Thomas Wayne. They challenge everything Bruce knows about Gotham and his family history.
>>89125864
wasn't that court of owls?
Court of owls was more remanent of city of crime rather than Batman RIP, right upto the theme about Gotham.
What wentright?
>>89125414
I seem to remember enjoying this.
>>89125414
everything
This movie sucked.
The magic island bullshit, the no humans on the island, Edward being absent for no goddamn reason, the plot is barely explained
It's fun and a good-looking movie, but it's also terrible
So this show is only a couple of months away and the only detail we know are:
>"The Squid who totally beefed it" will voice Spidey
>Fred Tatasciore will voice Max Modell
>That Venom, Spider-Gwen and Miles will be in it.
>>89125412
>Spider-Gwen and Miles
So it will suck, huh.
>>89125469
the way you retards try to hate them is fucking stupid
Spider-Gwen and Mile? Will this be about Spider-Man traveling about the multiverse? Will my hope for another Sliders style show coming out finally come true?
ITT: issues that made you drop a book (at least temporarily)

>Batman #17
What made me so sad was how GOOD #13 to #16 had been. #17 should have been a mind melter, but it was just an elephant giving birth to a mouse... I was really crushed at how little Snyder's plot amounted to then.
To me though, it was pic related.
I heard so many good things about I, Vampire, but by issue #6, I couldn't go any farther. It just sounded so rehashed and boring...
Also, Rotworld made me drop Snyder's Swamp Thing by the end of it. Such an awful storyline.
>>89125660
Oops, forgot pic.
>>89125660
>Also, Rotworld made me drop Snyder's Swamp Thing by the end of it. Such an awful storyline.
Well, it was the end of his run too. Have you checked Soule's run? It's much better than Snyder's, probably the best Soule has ever done so far.
>you will never give him a hug and a basket of hot wings and tell him it will be alright
Like he'd let you touch him.
>>89125356
I'll touch you if you don't be quiet
>>89125340
He's friggin immortal. I'd say it balances out.

For some reason whenever I copy anything at comicsalliance it gets a weird shit pasted in at the end
What is the absolute worst comic event/crossover? The one that's so shit that it has no redeeming qualities whatsoever?
Civil War 2 and/or Infinite Crisis.
Best are Annihilation and 52
Amazons Attack.
