Do you know the muffin man?

THA MUFFIN MAN
The Muffin Man
Anyone else been reading Motro?
3 issues in, and this is the most excited I've been for a new comic in a long time. Beautiful art, weird and wonderful ideas.

you got me intrigued
what's the story?

I'll steal the press blurb.
A reclusive young boy with superhuman strength tries to live up to the expectations of his dead father in an fantastic world of mechs and monsters. What will it take to fulfill his destiny?
Mechanical things are alive, and things that can't speak words, speak in emojis (which I would normally think was lame, but is actually really endearing). So far it's been a blast. I'm very excited to see where it goes. Here's my favorite panel from issue #3.

William Peter Blatty
Exorcist writer.
Why does thor care about the Earth and humanity again?
Because he wants subjects to rule over and when people attack his subjects it pissed him off.
>>89106003
He's an Earth god, his entire purpose and being was manifested in myth by its inhabitants. In real life he's associated with thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, and also hallowing and fertility.

If the power of belief makes the Norse gods real, why don't other planets with intelligent life have their own actually magical gods memed into existence?
Did he commit murderer?
Coulda just bought it from a bounty hunter, or took a skunk from the graveyard.
Or maybe animals in Zootopia can arrange to sell the rights to their body after death in exchange for some cash.
>>89105897
>Did he commit murderer?
No, but he shaved a skunk's arse. Some might say that's worse.
May as well have just put "Zootopia thread" in the OP
>first few issues
Wow this is a really interesting character study about all the crap someone with Superman's powers might have to endure in the real world, and how it would affect him
>last few issues
what the hell is even going on anymore jesus christ this is so far up its own ass with convoluted plot twists and cliffhangers and dangling hooks and all this modeus nonsense why can't we ever have good things

That goodness they made it clear that the Plutonian was born mentally unstable. If the comic would have gone full edgelord and implied that any human with that much power is likely to wipe out a significant fraction of the population of Earth then I would have bee so freaking angry over all that wasted time reading it.
Why did you ask if you should make a new thread if you were going to do it anyway
