Is there a comic where he protagonist hates himself but is actually a pretty good guy, yet nevera believes the compliments he receives from anybody and assumes they're lying and considers very few, of any, people to be his friends? Is there a comic where such a protagonist finally learns to stop hating himself and has a happy ending? Asking for a friend :'(

https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/03/05/peter-parker-will-no-longer-ceo-amazing-spider-man/

>Dane Tyler, embedded in the Spider-Man panel at ECCC, tells us that Peter Parker’s days as a CEO of Parker Industries in the Marvel Universe might be shortly numbered.

>When writer Dan Slott was asked by an audience member what job the creators would give him if he wasn’t a CEO, Slott said he couldn’t say because you’ll see his answer in the book.

>Which does indicate that Peter Parker will no longer be CEO of Parker Industries. If there even is a Parker Industries.

>It might indicate a return to more classic set-ups for Marvel characters as part of the upcoming rumoured Make Mine Marvel non-relaunch – and for Amazing Spider-Man to go back to it’s “legacy” numbering…

What do you guys think of the show? I have seen every episode multiple times
>>
I'd honestly encourage people to not watch the show, its a waste of time. It had an amazing first season and a good first half of second season, but everything after that is a trainwreck of such magnitude that it's better off forgotten. Worse yet, most of the plot points never get resolved.

There is no payoff for watching this show, its pure masochism
>>
>>90459804

I was planning on rewatchng the series but you've convinced me to watch Soylent Green instead. Then maybe Logan's Run and Silent Running. I think I got The Omega Man somewhere too.

The class goes along a full year. And its a little more than a one hundred years period. I just have to be selective. The class will mostly be whatching stuff.

So I had an argument today with someone who likes Marvel's current diversity approach. Long story short, they completely ignored any arguments regarding sales and critical reception, and the fact that the supposed "new readership" Marvel is looking for does not buy comics. Instead, all he did was call me a white bigot, despite the fact I'm not even fucking white.

Why are Marvel fans so delusional that they'll ignore perfectly rational arguments and resort to ad hominem right away? What is wrong with these people?

I wasn't, but that was because I I briefly died for 5 minutes at the operating table just as this show premiered. And before you ask, yes the procedure was a success and Double DD.

Nah. Neither were Disney's best showing, but Zootopia actually had a narrative that wasn't a tedious, meandering plod.
>>
>>90458145
Nah.
Neither of the two had a romantic subplot which was a plus but overall Zootopia managed to do a lot more than Moana who just did a Disney Princess without a guy to fawn over.

That was definitely an obscure cartoon. I only watched it a few times, but I thought it had it's own charm. I hope no one posts The Simpsons or Looney Tunes because those two are really popular and are iconic.
