I really want to get into comics only because the art is so cool. But my problem is, I have trouble getting into most of them because every comic series were written by 5 billion different artists, there's no way to collect every issue in every branching timeline/era or whatever. And most of the stories try way too hard to be serious but can never produce any likable characters.

I'm a weeb who reads manga, and its easy. One writer, one series, characters despite a lot of them having gay designs can actually be likable at least. When I read comics, I have to try so hard just to like the main character, which is a shame because unlike manga, comics are actually colored. I just can't get into boring characters and stories. So far I've read Kick-Ass, some ShadowHawk, some of Watchmen, Thanos origin story (forgot the title), Final Crisis, another one about the infinity gems where Thanos became omnipotent but still got punched by The Hulk somehow, the one about the guy committing suicide because his girlfriend died, and World War Hulk.

So which comics should

For his old powers, he has a totally indestructible arm made of magic metal. So why not let him channel his powers through it so he can do things like
>Shoot lightning or godblasts from it Surfer/Galactus/Goku style
>fling his fist into the air and then fly
>punch the air and make portals
>absorb energy from other people into it, and then maybe punch people with glow-ey fist
>punch enchantments/ghosts/immaterial/ethereal/barriers etc
>summon storms with a wave of the hand

Basically make him Unworthy-O:God of Fist and Punching things

His new thing would be flying fist first into everyone.
