Which one?
>have 150k liquid
>figuring out where to put it
>wife wants to drop up to 50k to pay towards our mortgage
How do I convince her that we should invest elsewhere? What is a safe investment that will return more than I am paying for my mortgage (3.6%)?
Blue chip stocks
Platinum
BTC once its done collapsing

Mortgage and rent out the property?
Why not knock some of that off of you mortgage and use the rest elsewhere? It's not a bad idea.
You doubled my money buddy!
Any other /biz/nessman get in on the big pump?

I want to create an app to compete with YouTube.
What would you suggest? (Other than giving up / becoming an hero)
At first I was thinking about a content sharing app, with videos photos and articles
Except the content would be temporary, removing itself from servers when it becomes irrelevant
(As such, the content on the app would have to be topical / dealing with news stories, trends, etc)
Content would be temporary to save on all costs associated with storing masses of content.
This allows me to give a higher % of revenue to content creators, incentivising them to join my platform / migrate from others
However recently I have been hearing that storage costs are negligible (though some say otherwise)
I have no real knowledge of how much storage across multiple servers is
So, I have some questions for anyone willing to spare some time to answer them.
>how costly is it for youtube to store such massive quantities of videos, relative to other costs (%?)
I know the cost of delivering the videos to viewers is more significant
>would it benefit youtube to remove videos that have become irrelevant
eg: videos discussing obama's victories in the 2008/12 elections that nobody cares about anymore
>what else could a competitor do differently?
Thanks
>>2795631
Regarding the deletion of irrelevant videos, I know some can imagine this not working
But I imagine it working well, as long as viewers are informed of the temporary nature of content
Between the time of creation / deletion, if a viewer wants to save a certain piece of content it's their responsibility
(4chan, Twitch, Snapchat, etc)
You would press a button to download a particular vid / pic, but the download occurs at the end of the lifespan of that piece of content
(So no revenue is lost)
Don't waste your time.

>What would you suggest? (Other than giving up)
do you have anything more constructive to add?
or maybe a reason why you think its a waste of time
The floor is made of Ethereum..

Are those 1 second candles?

5 minute candles burning pretty quickly. Doesn't matter if you zoom out to 30 min, it still looks the same.
Pretty comfy here
I've got 150 that I bought at the average price of 210. Not giving a fuck. I'm going down with these bags because I believe in the product, scam or no.
Might buy more if it goes sub 100 but already spent my maximum amount I could afford to lose, so probably won't.
This coin will be listed on bittrex next week. Volume is increasing on cryptopia. It's like you want to stay poor.
buy my bags

these bags were bought at 15000 sats. these bags are made of fucking gold bitch.
Scam coin. Hilarious to read the subreddit for this coin and the scared delusional bad holders.
This thing is zero by end of the month
>Hedging in LTC and ETC.
Good luck, dumbass. Oh wait you already bought the tops on those.
LTC isn't really a hedge, it's more like putting all your money into the hands of a couple Chinese pools, as much as they keep wanting you to believe that "le silver to bitcoins gold" bullshit

this big dip is all orchestrated by the russians with the help of some disgruntled chinese big players. the russians will hoard btc and eth as much as possible, and soon will start sponsoring it and spreading it into the russian economy. the demand spike, and non-russian speculator greed, will guarantee btc will reach the 10,000$ mark by 2019. eth is a bubble and too volatile to predict but it is really obvious it will hit 400$ again if not more.
see you in 2019
im honestly agreeing with this shit, alex jones where are ya?
Hope so. Cashed out what I needed and I'll leave the rest in a cold wallet stashed away for my birthday in 3 years

I'm starting my own LLC and have no inspiration whatsoever for a name. Help me name my company, anons. For what it's worth, I'm gonna be dealing in real estate.
On that note, any wealth management firm recommendations? Preferably not pic related.

this. ETH is dead and BTC tanking due tofear of fork and lost momentum bc of it.
LTC has and will be seen as the most stable haven. price will moon if fork goes through but eventually die down once everyone decides whether BCU or core wins
