I am an undergraduate finance major. I would like to get an internship as a financial analyst. What essential industry knowledge must I have before I open my mouth and speak to a recruiter? I want to have some idea of what I am talking about. I have only taken 1 finance class so far, so my knowledge is pretty limited.

Understand how to read a balance sheet and income statement, and what generally certain things mean.
For example, maybe you look at a balance sheet and see that from FY2015 to FY2016 revenue went down from 5m to 2m, but the temporarily restricted assests when from 10m to 15m. You might ask if the increase in net assets and drop in current year revenue is a result of a strategic move by the company to situate themselves a certain way a couple years down the line.
When you get an intership be sure to ask about the history of the position, have they always had interns? How many years? Ask them to think of a successful intern they have or have had, and ask what they did that made them such a good fit?
The key to doing well in interviews is so demonstrate that you have some kind of knowledge, but more importantly that you are curious and willing to ask questions so you can learn.
Learn basic excel like pivot tables and vlookups.

So Bitcoin Cash is gonna fork themselves a coin on August 1st and one that you get BCC coins from equal to the amount of BTC.
The price of BTC may initially dip and BCC might never make it.
So say you have 3k and you're gonna spend it on BTC beforehand, or something unrelated and ""secure"" like ETH.
What do you do?
Is having more BTC on August 1. a good or a bad thing?

Historically when BTC dips, ETH dips even more relative to it.
My plan is to hold in BTC and LTC, then trade my BTC for ETH when the BTC-ETH dip starts reversing.
Then hold my BCC and see what happens with it. Doesn't seem like many western exchanges will exchange it immediately.
