Apparently, congressmen are also working with a private company to develop an anti-money laundering compliant cryptocurrency which will be sponsored by the government. If you think about it, by moving to a blockchain style economy with centralized control, the gov will have total control over the economy, moreso than they do now with the fed and its interest rate levers.
Is this why monero's pumping? The hardcore libertarian millionaires who adopted bitcoin early on are fighting back against (((them))).

I've heard anything from $7 per 1000 views to $1 per 10,000 views. Advice online is all over the place.

It has some solid things to it. Like completly secure blockchain, along with peer to peer transactions. The transactions are instant, secure and practially free. This might be a challange for Bitcoin to overcome!
