>Several members of the US Congress are drafting legislation that is intended to recognize certain digital currencies and protect them against interference from the federal government.
>The bill, which will provide protection to cryptocurrencies that comply with certain minimum requirements to prevent them from being used by those engaged in illegal business practices like drug traffickers and terrorists, is expected to be filed in September 2017, according to DailyCaller.

Apparently, congressmen are also working with a private company to develop an anti-money laundering compliant cryptocurrency which will be sponsored by the government. If you think about it, by moving to a blockchain style economy with centralized control, the gov will have total control over the economy, moreso than they do now with the fed and its interest rate levers.

Is this why monero's pumping? The hardcore libertarian millionaires who adopted bitcoin early on are fighting back against (((them))).

Just curious, how much money does the average popular channel make per video?

I've heard anything from $7 per 1000 views to $1 per 10,000 views. Advice online is all over the place.

So I come to you masters of finance.

>hey whats up guys today we're going to be talking about fidget spinners DAB

these are the only people making money, every other category of youtube like tech reviews and how-tos are already filled by early entrants.
>>
>>3156592
You would be happy getting 20 cent per 1000. This assuming your audience is in US or a rich european country.

7 bucks per 1000, if only.
>>
>>3156678

how are people making a living then if they only get 20 cents per 1000 views

a moderately popular channel gets 500k views weekly, so they are only making $100 a week?

no way

Jihan's plans:

Tell me why the following is wrong:

Mining BCH gets easier
Chink miners mine it and sell, driving price down
Smart people buy BCH low and accumulate
This goes on for a long time, until there are BCH/ETH trading pairs and all the other trading pairs
When the exchanges are ready for BCH to kick old senile BTC off the throne, the Chinese miners with their 70% hashing power make it happen
BCH is now Bitcoin
BCH moons
People who bought low buy lambos

What's wrong with that idea?

Nothing, I fully expect it to happen which is why I'm done trying to time the market and I've moved my BCC into cold storage.

If it does go down more, perhaps to 550 I will buy more though.

Extremely obvious pump and dump is extremely obvious. Go ask your group leader why they pre-bought the "random" PND at 9:30 and then immediately dumped on you.

Why would you ever do this?

Don't you know that you have to spend at least 1 BTC before you see any profit?

That is why I have used 5 BTC, as I think this is the future.

It has some solid things to it. Like completly secure blockchain, along with peer to peer transactions. The transactions are instant, secure and practially free. This might be a challange for Bitcoin to overcome!

No worries here. Though it's always a pity to see it taking so long and knowing you missed a sell rebuy opportunity.
>>
>>3157262

Yeah this is the key between good and great, if you can sell the peak and buy the dip you will win both short and long term.

You will always win with BlockCat longterm though.

What does it mean for you? TL;DR:
1) Trustless instant nearly zero-fee transactions
2) Scales to billions of users
3) Thousands of new apps

>/biz/ predicts BTC to die

The price will be 100k by the end of the week won't it?
>>
>2) Scales to billions of users

you realize this is only true with a blocksize increase right?

in order to get to the point where you have 7 billion users making 2 transactions a day you need 113mb blocks. bitcoin has 1mb blocks right now..

when bitcoin cash gets the LN it will be game over for bitcoin core.
>>
>he accompanying ecosystem would be “highly centralized” once operational, but that this was “OK.”

lol.. sounds like a great way for the government to regulate bitcoin.

you guys are fucking idiots.
