I use tradingview to track prices now because they're actually faster at updating than Bittrex ITSELF is.
Is this a result of Bittrex not being able to handle the volume that it's receiving or is there something more to this?

API =/= GUI
Your app is using the bittrex api, so the core functions arw definitely up to speed. The browser interface is quite laggy but that is only an inconvenience
