My gbbr is having problems since for some reason I'm only getting like 1 joule and 300 fps with the npas closed all the way. My friend checked my install of the npas system which was correct. Clean the barrel, and check the hopup. Perhaps it's messed up or something.

If it's still having issues, put the original bolt back on and check if it is performing as it should.

If it is, than it is 100% something with the NPAS itself, and not the gun.

I understand you, but I've always had a better time with smaller weapons. I feel this stems from the fact that I play CQC and forestry that likes to hang on to anything that juts out. I do enjoy a big gun though. If I could I would main an M240, MG42, or any oversized monster. My only leviathan gun is my M99 AMR though, That thing reaches and has that nice weight and hard to see profile

Pretty good, My complaint is that the bolt will come into contact with the top half of the gun, which etches out on the bolt and leaves a bare steel line where it scrapes. Other than that it's just the lack of a sling hardpoint to put onto it. The gun itself has great accuracy and lets people know clearly that they've been hit, all 450-475fps of it.

I did watch a video since that's how I figured out to install it. I did Clean out the gun though Idk why since I haven't been able to use it at all. I literally have not used it once. I might buy a new nozzle since that's the only thing I can think would be the problem. Also on a side note it's a new nozzle since I broke the one the gun came with. So I think I may have either bought a fucked up one or fucked it up agian. Though the nozzle itself has no damage I can see since the last one I had shattered. The main reason is because of their legacy from when other pistols of the same era were absolute garbage. A Meme 23 can reach ranges out of the box that outclass most GBB pistols, have good gas efficiency since there's no slide to move, and work well in colder climates. On the other hand they're heinously overpriced and you can get a comparable clone from Y&P for a lot less and then just dump some upgrades in it, and modern GBBs outclass it in terms materials and quality.

Hey /asg/ name our team!

Anyone has any idea or any picture of how a R hop patch should look like INSIDE the barrel?
I've made a patch and when placed on the window it sits nicely and evenly and a very small portion of it goes inside the barrel.
From what I understand that shouldn't be a problem as that is what will cause the extra contact for improved spin but I know next to nothing about R-hoping so any help will be appreciated.

So. Got some questions and requesting some advice on Version 6 gearboxes.

What do you guys suggest on a good unique gun that is either durable out of the box (Take a long time before first failure) or easy to repair?

M4(AR-15s) and AKs are excluded.

As for the second question regarding Ver.6 gearboxes.

I currently have a Echo1 P90 that I'm stuck with. Semi-auto failed on it a long time ago. Just recently opened it up to take a look.

From what I hear the three main culprits are either the trigger contacts, the cut-off lever, or the sector gear.

Sector gear looked fine, (ended up taking an involuntary class on reassembling a gearbox) cut-off lever looked worn, but I can't tell if it's still working or not since I don't have a new one to compare. And the wire harness is the only thing left that I'd say is the culprit.

Am I missing something? Should I go ahead and buy the replacement parts and hope for the best? Or is there something else I'm missing? Be advised that I swapped out the stock hop-up with a Tokyo Marui hop-up.

I probably sound like a big newfag, but I'll admit that I'm just kinda stumped and want this gun to work again. Always a fan of unique guns.

I had the recoil spring and spring cap shoot out of the front of mine because the barrel bushing failed, and the barrel seperated in two.
On the other hand, my Marui Hi-Capa has had the safety break but it was second hand so I can't really say it broke right out of the box.

Not to mention my WE M14 which I have posted to death about and how mine and others have had a critical failure almost out of the box for six years and WE still hasn't addressed it. Meanwhile they're shitting out a new prototype almost every month.

I would guess that anything that is even remotely niche, is made in limited runs. Which makes sense when you think that most people are happy to run around with an AR15/AK.
