Rules bent?
There are several precedents and judgements by mods in the past which is why the anime buyfag thread has been on /a/ all this time.
There's a fucking rule in place right now that allows discussion of LIVE ACTION series' on /a/.
The fact that people are more angry about anime merchandise threads over live action threads is stupid enough in its own right.
I liked DJT and used it while in earlier phases of studying Japanese, but I won't argue for it to be on /a/ using the same reasons that I believe buyfag should be on /a/ for, because DJT has always been more of an exception / special case rather than it actually belonging.
It makes sense for the fucking anime related merchandise thread to be on the anime board.
