Angry italian priest is here too
If you could adopt one Jojo verbal quirk into your everyday speech, which would you pick?
EASY MODE: Assume you're in a hypothetical world where you won't be outed as a weirdo no matter what you pick
I'm gonna make the hair a bit more blonde but here's another raw version.
With Dio's Belt.
He wanted to fully realize DIO's ambition for everyone to acquire peace of mind.
Witht he universe reset everyone already knows their fate and can acquire peace of mind.
Killing the Joestars was just a bonus
With Kira's face and a bit more blonde hair
Okay, that analogy made me laugh. The only way he could be slipperier is if he was wearing shoes made of jellied eels and banana skins that had been covered in butter.
I have mixed feelings on the hand foreshadowing
On the one hand, it makes Kira feel less like he came out of nowhere
On the other hand, all the animeonlies are going to know he's the main villain as soon as they see the hand and that it is just a hand and so there's no reveal
>One of few Part 3 villains smart enough to work with a partner
>Would've blown Avdol's brains out if not for a post-mortem retcon
>Over the course of 3 encounters with the crusaders, they have never landed a hit on him
unless I'm forgetting something. He's only ever been hurt by third parties
>Had the guts to pull his gun out on Dio
There might be less shock factor in the anime, but I'm sure animeonlies will still get the excitement of realizing the connection of the cut-off hands to a David Bowie impostor. A simple connection, but still.
But yeah, I also have mixed feelings about the foreshadowing. I'm glad they didn't go overboard, at least. Some anons proposed (maybe ironically) one Kira cameo in every episode, but could you fucking imagine how overkill that would be
To sum up his incredibly complex motivations, Pucci wanted to fulfill DIO's vision of heaven, where everyone can see where their fates will lead them and thus, have no surprises (with only Pucci being able to change his own fate).
Pucci sees this as a good thing and believes he's doing it for the sake of mankind. He sees himself as selfless and believes he's doing the right, even though his actions are motivated for selfish reasons.
I like it.
Those scenes have served as a good teaser for Kira as the villain without spoiling anything, and also keeps a certain interest in what's going on with the hands. It serves to keep a certain thread in the story going so it's not just random shenanigans until Kira shows up. A couple of seconds of ignorance to it being a severed hand is a small price to pay.
If anything, I think the "oh shit" factor will only be bigger for animeonlies once they connect the dots right before he's revealed.
>asking for assistants on your edits
you could have at least made the request sound less autistic
If you're not cut out to edit something don't do it
This stand can convert virtual viruses into biological viruses and vice versa, due to neither being alive, and does so when the user touches any form of data input/outpust (i.e. usb sockets, the memory card's teeth, etc.)
You're posting the wrong one.
For starters, it’s a plot thing. Araki wants to unveil the villain in a similar way he unveiled Diavolo, that is, showing the Stand first and the user later. He didn’t want to show Pucci right away but he didn’t want him to just sit and wait for the characters to come to him, so he had Whitesnake be there almost from the beginning, building up mystery before the grand reveal.
And second, it’s related to the character and to show a glimpse of just how phenomenally insane Pucci is. Automatic Stands in the series are often used for characters with troubled personalities (Hazamada, Mista) and in need of guidance (Trish). Whitesnake is sort of neutral and objective, sometimes it almost seems like he’s questioning why Pucci’s asking him to do things. Whitesnake shares Pucci’s ruthlessness and aims but he’s also shown to be reflective, even philosophical, during times when Pucci just wants him to get stuff done (like that scene with Foo Fighters). He praises Xander McQueen for being evil and is prone to being talkative, traits associated with Dio (an early hint at Pucci’s character).
It’s almost like it’s a manifestation of how much self-justification goes into everything he does and how terrible he is at self-judgement. Pucci believes that he’s righteous and is terrible at examining himself and admitting that he could be at fault for things. Whitesnake’s independence/objectivity could be a manifestation of how Pucci’s ability to justify and ignore the wrong he was doing became second nature.
Whitesnake’s existence came from good intentions, his ability was supposed to be used to preserve his sister’s memories, 'save’ her heart and soul. But instead he ends up using it to kill people and turn them into nearly-dead husks, forcing them to obey him against their will or knowledge, stealing their memories and reading their thoughts, manipulating them, etc. It’s like the Stand acknowledges how fucked up that is.
Reminder to shit post like fuck for the get in a jojo thread
i have enough, i can continue continuously posting for a half hour
This will probably be the only successful thing I will achieve in life
Why there's so many god tier girls in Jojolion
How many dubs did you get in your life?
IM GONNA START HAVING A PANIC ATTACK
The pink/blue/off-white color scheme is so stylish.
those fuckan lips oooOOOOOOOOOOOh
We didn't get the ultimate four. I'm actually disappointed. :(
>tfw you miss the get because you posted too much and you got put on 30 sec cooldown.
At least you got something
Best girl got the get, so I don't mind.
>kira is the main villain of part 4
>he thinks duwang is worse than part 5's translations
cheer up /jooj/!
4 is bad luck!
We are now free from the bad luck!
how does it feel for not getting the get you shitters?
The number 4 shares the same pronunciation of death in nip and brings bad luck, so actually we're glad we didn't get it in this thread
great actualy, everyone know the number 4 brings bad luck.
I feel pretty much the same as I've always felt.
And i'm not that sure that i don't feel a little bit cheated.
Because you see you were fooled, you were always living
for somewhere where you aren't.
And while as I said it is of tremendous use for us, to be able to look ahead in this way and to plan.
There is no use planning for a future which when you get to it and it becomes a present, you won't be there.
You'll be living in some other future which hasn't yet arrived.
And so in this way, one is never able actually to inherit and enjoy the fruits of ones actions.
You can't live at all.
Unless you can live fully, now.
If you're worried about post numbers...don't be, it's roughly the same as /a/, you just have more posts overall than us.
Our next big GET's are scheduled to be 4 and 7 8's, 490000, 4 and 7 9's and 50000000
>calling other people shitters
>The thread that got the get was immediately flooded by Mista posters
>Their chances of a good discussion were killed with that one post
4 really is an unlucky number.
Why do all the P8 fights seem to be so underwhelming? Outside of the Beetle fight, all of them seemed a bit short and did not end in a satisfying way? None of the rock people seemed to be too interesting such as the fights against GuyWhoStandsAbovePeople and DontOpenAnything, and MakesJosukeForget and the StreetWherePeopleGetRobbed didnt end too interestingly.
It's called having shit taste
the fights in part 8 are visceral and run on a realistic frame of time, it isn't suppose to be a shounen.
The only problem I have with Jojolion's fights is the fact that the stand powers are starting to get a little too convoluted, like Paper Moon King, California King Bed, and Born This Way.
I've been using the Jojoveller pattern for years now.
Some phone wallpapers would be dope too
Why did Araki abandon Joseph's multi hat and gave him an aviator cap?
Oooh, nice one. I thought about using the Jojolion poster one but there's no hi-res versions anywhere. Only one with shit all over it and no stylish "JOJOLION" letters in the middle, picture related.
pretty darn good/10 my man
I have like 200+ wallpapers. It would take a millennium just to post them all
You better post the best ones, or /jojo/ will be disappointed.
>even Jojoveller didn't have the full drawing
What the hell.
Can you tell a site where I can upload a folder or something?
Someone translate this please, this guy's talking about Hato's stand.
I think he says the name is 「Walking Heart」, but I'm not sure what the rest says.
I wonder if the name stand in the "Walking Heart" east home stand name common east pigeons are over with, "King" is ... would be King difference unwillingly ... lol Hearts and pigeons? Walking nine over bird ...
top tier google translate
Great. Now what we need is:
>the author's comments blurb itself
>the spine with Damo and Vitamin C
>all the doodles
Araki also apparently tweaked the art and wording quite a bit again. Slightly sad how we who read it in English will probably forever be stuck with what are pretty much beta versions of the chapters.
I'm looking at a 2ch thread right now, some people think it's Working Heart, Walking Heart, or War King Heart.
But none of those are music references.
My huge collection of wallpapers
Their stands aren't really hard to understand, one creates life and the other makes zippers. But there's a stand in Part 5 that's really confusing to most people, good luck trying to figure out what it does.
Hey guy's I'm gonna leave my friend Okuyasu here while I make lunch can you guys take care of him?
Thanks in advance
>Wall - walking up the wall
>King - family naming theme
>Heart - Hato
Not a bad name. I wouldn't mind it being the stand name, even if it isn't a music reference. It's not like anyone knows what the deal with Cream Starter was either.
The fact that they make such a big deal about Giorno being a good person even though the first thing he did was steal from Koichi leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. He steals from a guard later for Polpo's test, but says he'll give it back afterwards. But he totally fucked over Koichi just because?
>this entire scene
This was some 80's OVA-tier shit
It's because his character is so shallow we literally have to be told things about him like "Wow he's such a born leader, he knows how to make people trust him!" like 10 times.
He decided to be a good person within the timespan of like 2 arcs/10 chapters?
Polpo's test is literally right after the Buccelati fight, which in turn is after Koichi chased his ass down to get back what he stole. All of Giorno's future actions do paint him as kind of good, but he took from Koichi at the beginning and never gave anything back, and then two arcs later he takes from a woman and says he'll give it back "of course"
>Not liking Joseph
What is this meme?
Here's a leak of the final antagonist of part 8.
its the form esidisi take before getting killed
But Valentine was already in part 7 anon...
Yeah, gappy would probably have 100% of the votes if he presented himself for american presidency
Yeah, but imagine having the alternate universe antagonist cast composed only of american president.
No, he gained a purpose. It's the first arcs unveiling the character,
Giorno was always a good person who does shady things without batting an eye.
The whole reason why he's comitting random acts of theft is to get the attention of the mobsters so he can join their ranks.
The Buccellati arc is where he proves himself to be a good person to the readers and proves he's not like DIO.
It's a similar thing with Josuke. Josuke is introduced as really polite, careless and quick to anger if someone insults his hair. These characteristics would gradually change as the character gains a sense of purpose and a backstory.
Jojo openings are a gift from God
Part 1 of 2
Don't worry baby birds. I'll feed you.
>Trump has Crazy Diamond
P O T T E R Y
>Shining Diamond reverts things to how they were before
>Make America Great Again
