Do you read GOOD Manwha, /a/?
You're confusing webtoons with Manwha
Page space isn't an issue for webcomics.
I'm just waiting for the proper plot to get underway because right now it's just One Punch man except not as funny.
Because honestly it was never good, all it had was a decent concept with bad art and bad writing.
They started introducing too many characters so they could start making plot happen, but then they introduced too many so it just turned to shit when they started putting things together
Koon is the only reason why I haven't dropped this shit.
Shit is fucking hot AND the art is great.
The scene where Rachel ask Bam why he didn't died was fucking good, though. It's a shame that it's showing flaws like: having no idea if a blow is strong/effective or not; secondary characters just are there to die; and the only way to win is being stronger.
I'm pretty sure Leez is actually beta as fuck right now but she's getting pretty close to snapping. It was a surprise that she remembered Yuta and Asha killing her though.
Also Asha is such a shit and needs to be kill.
I just want these guys to get to the 77th floor already and meet best boy again.
Veritas - good start, shit end
The Breaker - goodstart, curently shit
Also, you can only make manhwa threads in nighttime /a/ because there are a very vocal trio of autists that derail gookshit everytime.
That is Chinese manhua, not Korean manwha.
I dropped it after this arc just started.
They will skip that floor, and Karaka's floor. Too soon to do either of them. I would not be surprised if this arc ended with Bam telling the rest to climb the tower while he finishes the Revolution Road, then he climbs solo to rank B.
Its just a thinly veiled rec thread, there are atleast 3 others up
>best completed manga
>beautiful manga panels
This one's good, but I think scanslations died.
Needs more manga about mean girls being dicks to others and each other.
Zero chance at that. Rachel is FUGs backup plan, they will lead her up the tower even if it meant attaching her to a Slayer.
There is zero chance this finishes in the next 2-3 years anyways, the setting is too big and expansive. Its going to drag on without another big jump like S1->S2.
I just want to find out why Rachel is so scared of Baam. She's trying to climb the tower to get away from him because of something that happened which we barely know anything about (like 1 panel).
Didn't she only get in though because she was with Baam when he did? Don't remember exactly but I remember Headon saying she had no right being there or something along those lines
Probably something she learned before going down to where he was kept. He was imprisoned somewhere that had the seal of Zahard on it. Its even weirder that she was able to break into where ever that was, and that Urek's version of "outside the tower" is vastly different from Bams
>and that Urek's version of "outside the tower" is vastly different from Bams
The area was different but it was still outside of the tower. They seemed to be underground. There were also other people there we don't know about.
Bam is one OP motherfucker he just casually bending massive pipes with shinsu.
I love power level shit, so I find myself liking this even though it's objectively not that good.
What anime or manga actually depict Koreans badly? I know nips and gooks mostly hate each other, but I haven't seen anything besides this one shitty Sakurasou doujin that demonized Korea.
haitus till forever
and whats about you people posting webtoonshit its not even manwha
Catching up with Kubera and The Breaker right now, good shit. Black God is on my backlog but I've heard mixed opinions on it's quality.
For webtoons, I'm really enjoying DICE. I don't really hear people talk about it at all, but it's pretty fun and the art isn't terrible. The number of death flags Mio has set makes me sad.
I still have no idea what this story was about, but watching Gangryong grow and fuck up bitches was great.
Still extremely sad that Veritas stopped.
Shit was the perfect combination of weak-to-strong and MC that didn't give a fuck.
Just reread Paladin. Extremely reminiscent of Eat-man which is one of my favorite manga. Same artist as Yongbi and Gosu.
I'm thinking I should give Magician a shot. I've heard good things about it but just never bothered to read it mainly due to the art. After being completely blown away by Kubera it seems worthwhile to check it out.
He was never weak and spent his time meditating to increase the quality of his chi. He pretended to be weak because then no one would take him seriously so he could rock their faces. There was a lot of rusing going on. Hell, whatshisface pretended to be weak the entire story just so he could beat Vera.
That was definitely his character.
Overconfident streetfighter that thinks he's better than these prissy, sheltered point fighters.
It's always nice to have variety of MCs. Why not have a hot-headed boastful one that eventually backs what he says.
>Why not have a hot-headed boastful one that eventually backs what he says.
Because when he couldn't back it he was pathetic and when he could he could for no good reason and it felt like a bad contrivance.
>Because when he couldn't back it he was pathetic
But he was never pathetic. Did you forget the point that he was challenging literally everyone, losing on purpose to build up a shitty image of himself, and training alone?
If he was humble while weak in the beginning he'd just look like an even bigger dick if he became boastful later.
He was pitiful at the beginning, when he was always in casts and bloodied into a daze, but I didn't really have a strong opinion on it at the time because it was obvious he was going to get stronger and smash everyone's face in.
>But he was never pathetic. Did you forget the point that he was challenging literally everyone, losing
Talking shit and getting hit, pathetic.
>losing on purpose to build up a shitty image of himself, and training alone?
Laughable contrivance that came off as forced.
>Talking shit and getting hit, pathetic.
You didn't read this manwha at all, did you.
>Laughable contrivance that came off as forced.
How is it a contrivance when he's shown doing this literally all the time to the point where he fought with broken limbs?
>You didn't read this manwha at all, did you.
I read the whole thing. He was all bark and little bite. His only good fight was his mudfight, because after that they just went "lol he's strong now because reasons oops we're cancelled stay tuned for Veritas 2".
> because after that they just went "lol he's strong now because reasons
>the entire purpose of his going to the school is to steal his techniques
>story shows him training and getting better consistently all the time
>story shows characters giving him their own techniques for him to learn so he can improve
>is constantly shown trying new stuff
>literally has written information on learning techniques from his master
>entire technique is based on purity of chi, which is improved through frequent meditation, which he does literally all the time
>this is before he goes to train where his master trained
You have a weird definition of the word "contrivance". I don't know how you can see "shown literally all the time improving in different ways" as "because reasons". There's a lot of things wrong with Veritas, but that isn't it.
Good news then. The plot has actually progressed, but it has also progressed into a cliche
Unfortunately the more titles I read, the more I am inclined to say that it is in general more shitty than manga and it is much harder to find good titles. And I'm not even talking about artstyle - hell, I liked Kubera and that is possibly has the most shitty and uninspired art of them.
how about you go and report it and see what happens
So, I stopped reading ToG like 20 chapters ago because I couldn't take how butchered the pacing has become and how the author insisted on introducing more and more characters and strugged to make them all releveant. Has anything changed?
Or you might simply read the rules,, only western things are not authorized in here, as long as there is no board to host fully manhwa for example, it belongs here. The name of a board is not a rule, only a name.
We sometimes talk about VN or music, the whole secret santa sure was anime and manga related too.
There's too much people like this, you guys should seriously find the rules and read them.
So which american manga are you reading /a/? I'm so glad /a/ got renamed into anime and picture books.
Why do you faggots keep engaging in this discussion?
We have one in every thread, none of them get deleted, there is literally no issue, just a bunch of idiots collectiong (you)s and they keep getting them.
What make you think what i said about rules works only in this thread ? You guys are quite susceptible to what I said to answer like that.
You are what make this board worse and worse everyday.
And it's not because a thread has less post than your moe thread that it make it worseless, it might have more popularity if some people had the decency to let us have a real conversation instead of shitposting.
And this thread too, yesterday
Literally shitposting and off topic the thread. You're the one who created these threads?
Just pointing out that it died on page 10 with over 600 replies and wasn't intentionally kill by a spammer like what you linked.
This thread was nice until now. Time for 500 spam replies. Definitely eurotrash shitposters that do this.
calling me gook won't make you more Japanese.
Thanks for illustrating perfectly what i meant by "you guys are making this board worse and worse everyday".
All those people triggered by this thread, if you guys like Japan so much to hate everything else, there are some boards for you.
>The art is so good though >>135336379
Can gook get anymore degenerated?
>board about anime and manga shit
>lel these people like japan they're not alowed in this board
This one was ok for the longest time, and then it got shit, and it might pick up again
Do you not recognize a masterpiece when you see it?
>just enjoy reading wetoons
>Literally saying he's enjoy eating horse shit
Do you think stuff like this shouldn't be allowed on /a/?
Nice furry shit, nut check my zombie killer masterpiece
I also want to be able to post manga like pic related.
I don't get it. You guys complain so much about Tumblr and SJW bullshit and then you go and get triggered by this. You literally cannot handle it so you bitch and whine all day instead of ignoring something you don't read.
you will never be Japanese
I'm reading the Breaker for the 3rd times. Jinie is top-notch. No, God tier.
Once again you're amazing at picking only a fraction of what someone said.
I did said if you like japan SO MUCH THAT YOU HATE EVERYTHING ELSE.
Obviously, you guys probably don't even think before answering, not even trying to make sense, insulting and spamming this thread while you say that this thread should be gone.
>the average gookboo.jpg
What's a twist
Let have a civil thread and always remember to sage
Trace, SAO, Kubera, Annarasumanara
Really it's supposed to be a general manhwa discussion thread.
Is it possible to be edgier than the god of darkness?
anyone reading re:life? i know it's japanese but i have never ever seen a single thread about it
For me Veritas MC was refreshing. Jerk, with any noble motivatio. Not moralfag, really loves fighting, yet don't fall into "crazy" scheme. Don't try to save anyone or fight for others.
But on the other hant at that time i was reading too much shounen stuff.
Anyone else have read Can't See Can't Hear but Love?. That was heartbreaking (even if looked like a shit)
Anyone else reading this epic american manga?
Nobody mentions Witch Hunter?
ok, it's no masterpiece, MC looks like Allen clone, in the arc in Bailong it was fucking hard to tell who is who, plot is not always good. But this series is fun.
>artist suddenly stops using any outlines
What the fuck?
Especially in flashbacks.
Read it twice still couldn't tell which brother is which. Tried to distinguish them by hairstyles, but that still was hard
Why would someone suddenly change their art style to something so distractingly different. Gooks pls.
Fun shit. Nothing special in terms of plot, but have interesting fights, likable characters and isn't afraid to fuck the shit up.
Can't forget about the greatest nation's boats.
>Talk shit about Junji manga
How can people like you exist?
Pretty sure you're the only one bumping this gook thread.
