Because infinity is the act of eternal expansion. If you want to do more things, and don't want to have to construct every single particle by yourself. Let other infinite beings exist in your locality. Makes it slightly more fun.
Because you can't be trusted

Jesus is God. Nothing else is.
Greetings,
Every now and then, about every week or so on average, I encounter some strange coincidance. I will provide some recent examples:
> I was watching a clip of a scene from Inglourious Basterds on YT (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dpLBM4rBPM). After I finished watching the video, I went on 4chan, and as the first thing saw an image of Lieutenant Archibald "Archie" Hicox (a guy in the scene, pic related) posted by some anon.
> Have a conversation with my friend about this fag movie "Suicide Room". Come home, and witness my mom watching it on the TV.
> Sign up for a new, little-known email service. Next day, hear a YouTuber I subscribe to promoting it (he doesn't make videos on this subject at all, so it's a clear outlier).
Call me stupid for reading into this too much, but I'm slowly beginning to suspect that there's something behind these "coincidences" - something supernatural. They happen much too frequently. I've begun documenting them in the hopes of drawing out some patterns.
Does anyone else here experience such "coincidences"? If so, what do you think of them?
Selective perception. Confirmation bias.
Baader-Meinhof is the phenomenon where one stumbles upon some obscure piece of information—often an unfamiliar word or name—and soon afterwards encounters the same subject again, often repeatedly.
The reason for this is our brains’ prejudice towards patterns. Our brains are fantastic pattern recognition engines, a characteristic which is highly useful for learning, but it does cause the brain to lend excessive importance to unremarkable events. Considering how many words, names, and ideas a person is exposed to in any given day, it is unsurprising that we sometimes encounter the same information again within a short time. When that occasional intersection occurs, the brain promotes the information because the two instances make up the beginnings of a sequence. What we fail to notice is the hundreds or thousands of pieces of information which aren’t repeated, because they do not conform to an interesting pattern. This tendency to ignore the “uninteresting” data is an example of selective attention.

I get this shit all the time too, like twice a week or so. I'll be looking at a completely random subject or see it on TV or something, then I'll see it somewhere else the same day.
Like about a month or so ago I watched a recommended youtube video on the Kamchatka peninsula, I thought nothing of it and the next day my dad brought up Kamchatka out of the blue, really freaky
I think it is the higher spiritual self (not bound by space, time, or conventional thoughst) communicating to you that life is more than you think, and that you can set your own fate, a divine fate in essence. These ways of opening up to cosmic realizatoins can take many forms and shapes, most of them seemingly supernatural to us. The nature we do understand (physics, biology, daily life) is in fact one and the same as the supernatural realm that we consider fictitious or phantom-like. It is because our world that we live in is an imprint of a higher order taking effect, and our minds, as well as our actions, have an significance to that higher order. I believe our bodies serve our higher self, one that can be difficult to live up to, though, not impossible and with enough confidence can become natural. That's also the way to success as I experience it.
Can anyone crack this code?
Objnofn fh jz jiz fia
Apparently its using some of the most common codes and part of it is backwards.
But i cant crack it for the life of me. It probably has some shift cipher in it. idk
I love cryptography so I'll give you a bump, but I'm way too tired and lazy to crack it now. Good luck OP!

OP where did you find the code? Curious because im curious. Also heh, "jiz"
not a shift cypher, tried 1-25
Hey /x/,
I've got a question pertaining to the art of ritual magick. I have done research into historical forms of ritual and conjuration magick through codices like Solomons Greater and Lesser Keys, though these forms tend to be extremely intricate and at times, expensive. I am wondering if there is any significance in my own potential "made up" rituals. If I still utilize certain aspects like incense, candles, markings on the floor, and holy names of God, will I find any success?
At this point I am completely unsure whether or not I actually believe in said magick, but I find it fascinating nonetheless.

>I am wondering if there is any significance in my own potential "made up" rituals.

>>19445288
i'm not claiming to be making up any brand new concepts

I think suicidal thoughts exist because of the limitations of a human brain.

No,
can someone redpill me on Gnosticism? Do Gnostics believe in Jesus, or are there different types of Gnostics, where would i start if i wanted to become gnostic?
>>19445101
>>19445101
Meetups.com might have a gnostic group near you too.
I am a Gnostic myself, mostly because I was raised in a Valentinian(Demiurge isn't evil but misguided) family.
This thing is basically Abrahamaic faith with DLCs, where YHWH isn't even God (the Monad) but the Demiurge, which is the aborted spawn of Sophia, the lowest Aeon and Aeon of Wisdom.
But honestly there are many different gnostic cults, a Valentinian doesn't believe exactly the same than a Sethian, etc.
I saw on Secureteam10 that there was kind of alien picture that was removed. Well my request to any of the extraterrestrial alien species to please come and give me a ride around the planet/solar system/galaxy/universe.

And you expect extraterrestrial species to be reading /x/ threads and giving free rides why exactly..?
> Be me, about 4
> sitting at the table having lunch
> mom is in the next room with her friend
> eating my food when I notice something
> it looks like eyes are staring at me from inside the oven
> they look like a cat's but they're huge
> the oven looks like it's slowly opening
> I scream and my mom comes running in
> the eyes are gone and the oven is closed
> I tell her what I saw
> She doesn't even listen. She just puts me in my bed and tells me to sleep
> Did not sleep at all
Another:
> Sleeping in my bed. About 8 at this point.
> Can't sleep. Feel like I'm being watched.
> Go into my Mom's room multiple times but she sends me back.
> Laying in bed, suddenly get a cold sweat.
> Guess I fell asleep, because I wake up, and my mom is laying on my bed.
> She looks really weird tho. Her eyes are wide open and she is looking at me from upside down.
> No expression on her face. She slowly caresses my cheek.
> I'm in a cold sweat and my heart is beating really fast. Something is really wrong and I can tell.
> Suddenly, she's gone. I'm terrified and hardly sleep after that.
> Next morning, I ask my mom why she was acting like that.
> She had no idea what I was talking about and tries to convince me it was a dream.
> To this day it still creeps me out.

reposting from last thread
>I'm 7 years old
>my parents built an addition to the house so my grandma could live with us, it's all the way across the house from my bedroom
>parents go out for the night, grandma is the only one home and she's watching TV in the addition
>we don't have dogs or anything, just a cat
>lying in bed trying to fall asleep, definitely not sleeping or dreaming, when I hear footsteps coming down the hallway leading to my room
>slow, heavy footsteps, and some kind of heavy breathing
>like something huge and fat, or someone in a big heavy costume
>footsteps get closer and closer and stop in front of my door
>hear the heavy breathing coming from right above my door
>there's a fucking shadow on the floor right behind it
>start screaming my lungs out for grandma, no way was I opening that door
>it takes her a good few minutes to walk across the house to me, she's confused because she didn't see or hear anything
>I just sit on her lap and cry from fear until parents come home
I really hope there's a reasonable explanation for that shit
Most mothers would allow their children to sleep with them for a night after been freaked out at that age. it's unfortunate yours practically ignored it.
Can someone tell me what this means? Idk what I'm looking at
