I am a Gnostic myself, mostly because I was raised in a Valentinian(Demiurge isn't evil but misguided) family.
This thing is basically Abrahamaic faith with DLCs, where YHWH isn't even God (the Monad) but the Demiurge, which is the aborted spawn of Sophia, the lowest Aeon and Aeon of Wisdom.
But honestly there are many different gnostic cults, a Valentinian doesn't believe exactly the same than a Sethian, etc.

Yahweh never was the most high God, the most high God was El Elyon. Yahweh gave birth to man, Enki, Enlil, Allah, etc. El Elyon gave birth to Jesus and Yahweh.

Jesus is the son/sun of El Elyon, not Yahweh.

This explains the disparity between the gods of the Old Testament and the New Testament
