Capacitors may sometimes end their life with a nice audible pop. In which case you'll see small bits and pieces of their innards all over the motherboard, shorting circuits and generally making a mess.

It is some sort of a/v video converter, but you only show one side of the device so it is perhaps ill-advised to attempt to give a precise answer.

On the side that is clearly shown, there are five "RCA" sockets: left to right, a group of three = Green-Blue-Red (which are the three components of the video signal);

..... then a group of two = White-Red
which are the two (left-right channel) stereo components of the audio signal.
If you could post an image of the other side, it should then be possible to give a more complete and reliable answer.

You probably should establish a family cemetery if public cemetery is not suitable for you. I believe that is possible according to the laws of the State of Texas. You don't need to resort to the services of funeral homes.

You should secure the grave well so that the risk of vandalism and desecration will be very low. There are all kinds of bastards out there interested in graves. The last thing you want to see are pics of opened up grave in some social media site.

You should also mark the grave in a map very well, so that your grandchildren won't get too surprised while digging for the new flowerbed. I know a family up here in Northern State who found their great granddad that way. There were all sorts of suspicion around until it was finally figured out.
