Overlord LN has some of this, but it is more comedy than serious shit.
MC gets turned into evil Necromant Overlord and everybody assumes whatever he does is part of some dark plot. For example he breaks a king by getting bored and joining in a training spar, in which he demolishes what was supposed to be the secret weapon against him.
Or he uses a flashy spell because he thinks people will see it as cool and thank him for his help. But they are actually mortified since it is so horrible to them and join him out of fear, which he does not compute. That sort of thing. He unwittingly breaks a shitload of people through the books and it is damn hilarious at times.

That's a trick you do with (digital) delay. You set the delay at 1/4 trioles to the tempo, and start playing 1/8s to the tempo. The result with delay echo as multiplyer gives you 1/16s.
