Quick, think of a pokemon. Any pokemon. The rest of its evolutionary line too if it has one. Got'em? Good. Now go on serebii or bulbapedia or whatever preferred pokemon database you use and look at themoves it learns by level up.Whether it's thematic or competitive, find something stupid in it and suggest a fix. Just make Trick-or-Treat a default move like Trick and Astonish already are. Give it Mean Look. Swap Vinewhip for Razorleaf. Give it Grasswhistle, Nightmare, Hex, and Will-o-wisp; I know it fits the pumpkinseed gimmick but just drop Worry Seed. Give it access to a few simple fire moves like Ember, Fire Spin, and/or Incinerate.
It still drives me nuts that a jack-o-lantern was the best excuse for a grass/fire pokemon and they passed it up. The least they could have done was play up the theme even if the type didn't match.
