How can I regain my interest in video games?
For almost 2 years now, I've completely lost interest in playing any video games. I've tried replaying all of my favorite games as well as new games but I can't play anymore than 20 or so minutes before getting bored. All my friends play shit like GTA together on their PS4s and I can't join them because I just can't stand playing games anymore.
My local EB Games is selling used PS4s for $268, and I'm considering buying it, but I just don't know if it's worth getting it for just GTA.
p.s. I'm 18 years old, so it's not like I'm old as fuck, otherwise my lack of interest would make more sense.

I haven't been on this board for almost two years. In fact, I haven't paid attention to any video game related news for almost two years.
I tried playing FPSs, (J)RPGs, MMOs, turn based games, etc.
The last game I actually enjoyed and played properly was MGSV. After I finished the game and had about 100 hours on it, was the point where I realized that video games just aren't that fun anymore.

Also skewed by their desire to continue to hold their job. It isn't unheard of to have people who gave a bad review just not get a review copy for the publisher's next game.

Videogame critics are basically failed movie critics, which is already scraping the bottom of the barrel to begin with. That's why you get a lot of left wing activist types thrown into the mix.
I don't look to reviews at all when I'm deciding whether I want to buy a game, though. I watch videos and see what people are saying in communities like this one.

Dark Souls is most likely getting a Remastered for PS4/XBOX and PC
The game hasn't gotten any discounts on any platform despite multiple DS-Franchise sales since October 2016.
This is likely for multiple reasons:
1) Dark Souls Remastered means all of Dark Souls would be playable on both PS4 and XBOX One.
2) The PC version despite being very successful is still a bad port that never got officially fixed. The game working great out of the box would be a reason for many people to buy it again. People have been demanding a remastered for quite a bit.
3) Fromsoft Mentions. The idea of remastering the game isn't something fans made up.
What do you think?
Is it real? Will it be a remaster with slightly better graphical effects or a true remake with new engine?
And would you even buy it?

yeah, I'd buy it, I'd like to have rolling take the same amount of stamina as it did in Dark Souls 1, but have the roll, and percentages of Dark Souls 3, also it would be preferable if they improved the net code, and bring over the pass word match making.
