The problem with this mission, like with most of Rockstars 'hard' missions, is it is scripted as fuck.
It's as bullshit as police cars teleporting infront of you during get aways in GTA.

I've been trying to find the old custom games I liked years ago, found Enfos and Burbenog so far, but there's some I can't seem to find. Help me out please, if you remember.
Zombie survival map, you have to defend a base from increasingly hard waves.
You were either starcraft marines or dwarf sharpshooter, either way it was shooter based.
Could pick classes; assault, sniper, engineer and some others I don't remember.
Engineer was broken because you'd fill the map with turrets.

The biggest problem comes from whenever Blizzard updates wc3 they tend to break something in tons of custom games.
Or in the last patch with them moving certain files around they ended up breaking the editor that most serious map makers use JASS New Gen World Editor.

So Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is getting a remake, Color Splash was kind of a dud, and it seems like Nintendo is getting a bit more willing to shake shit up again, with Mario and Zelda at least.
Is there hope to get another fantastic Mario RPG in the future?

I don't have much faith in current Intelligent Systems, I agree with that.
I'm more inclined for just a good Mario RPG though, doesn't need to be in an existing sub-series. I think some new blood would be a good idea. Though yeah, chances may be slim.
