Strange Journey mostly can wall you with some later bosses depending on the ending you go for. It's also unlike IV in that the Press Turn system is replaced with Demon Co-op, so you can't get extra actions for hitting weaknesses or getting crits. There's also no overworld, if you've played something like Etrian Odyssey it's similar, the whole game is just a series of dungeons and you explore them in first person. It can be a little difficult to jump into, but you should be okay.

The most deliberate connection I can think of is TF2. It's a game that's actually skill-based where you can work with the resources you're given avoid things and do things that would otherwise seem borderline impossible in Overwatch. Like killing more than 1 person at a time.

It's a game that's actually based on skill, though, so I'm going to warn you now that if you join a pub you're going to get stomped so hard you're just gong to want to quit. It'll take a good hundred hours of dicking around in that game before you feel like everyone isn't constantly trying to push your shit in.

Jigglypuff is a shit character, so shit that there is literally L I T E R A L L Y only one guy who can get to top 8.

Hbox SINGLE HANDEDLY flipped the fox puff matchup on his own, its still widely regarded by top pros to be 70%-30% in favor of fox. Seeing Hbox weave in and out instant death combos at 30% is a skill only few can even fathom. His character can die from one upthrow upair while he has to combo the spacies into fucking oblivion with 50 bairs or a risky rest combo that if he misses he INSTANT LOSES A STOCK.

Hbox is the hero we need, the one who consistently got out-tier'd for his entire life, but he refused to switch to 20XX he fucking pioneered his own character so much to a point that NONE OF THE GODS can replicate it and they all play top tiers pretty consistent except puff.

He fucking won it all, He beat his demons in life when the odds AND fans were always stacked against him. /v/ hates him because they will never craft their own negatives lives into success like him

art direction looks like booty cheeks same with sss remake.

Locking modes behind Amiibos, for starters. The art direction was also a major turn-off, at least for me. Other than those two, I don't know what else. I'm still rather pumped for it, though, been jonesing for a new 2D metroid, even if a remake, and who knows? Maybe the hard mode and such will be released in time as updates or they may just ditch the amiibo idea ent- hahahahahah...
