Let's get real here how bow dat. This movie is overly long with a contrived ending. There's no way this is the #1 movie of all times. I put it on when...no, I never put it on anymore.
The only thing I don't like about the movie is the shitty old man makeup. It looks just looks terrible to me.
Overall it's pretty great

Like the original King Kong this movie pioneered many movie making techniques. Obviously those born into an age of rampant cgi won't be able to appreciate that.
Movies used to be technical masterpieces. Now they're done by fat people sitting at keyboards while covered in cheeto dust.
>contrived
You probably just liked how that word sounded in your head, but if you care to, take a minute to explain what you meant by it?
>travel through space to find out life is a skybox
>get behind bookcase to watch your life's memories
>~noclip the movie
really deep made me think nolan is a genius how does he think of this stuff
the movie was fine until the blackhole.
>>84431825
>the movie was fine until
The movie is trash because the story erodes anything that grounded it and made it seem worthwhile. Nolan always goes the pseudo-science, its-so-complicated-that-everyone-will-think-I'm-a-genius route.

If they had just had them both survive the escape of the blackhole. then McConaughey gets over the knowledge that his family and everyone on earth is going to die. while he and hathaway travel slowly to the final planet. they land and find that hathaway husbando is dead, and you get a cutaway to earth. As an elderly Murph dies and the planet is turning into a dust ball. Though McConaughey is there for her, and they start up Plan B.
This is going to be terrible, isn't it?
>Paris is home to a joyous, but burdensome, little family. With Kate (a little girl who is a bit too boisterous), Sushi (an unpredictable cat) and Nathan (a dad who is completely snowed-under), day-to-day life tends to be explosive. For them, each day is a new adventure, while for Nathan, each day is Kat-astrophe! One day follows another for them, but no day is like any other! The sky is the limit for their flights of fancy and surges of energy. A simple history lesson can turn into a battle of Waterloo in the living room, or Spring cleaning turns into a hunt for dust monsters. Kate & Sushi prove that they are experts in giving ordinary situations extraordinary proportions !
It's a French live-action/animated hybrid. English name is Kate & Sushi.
>>84431698
Looks like some sort of wishbone/ghostwriter thing, only it will suck because it's french and no longer the 90's
>>84431698
>while for Nathan, each day is Kat-astrophe
I know kid's shows get a free pass because 'whimsy' but whoever wrote that pun needs to be kneed in the groin.
Characters who as it turned out were right all along.

He only gave advice.
>Stop being beta

Is that really what Fight Club boils down to?
fight club is "look at the dangers of trying to be an big tough guy alpha, you retards. why arent happy being a beta bitch like the author?"

the thing is these movies are considered unfunny trash in britain
you, the american, only find them funny because of the zany accents and lingo
spaced/shaun of dead/hot fuzz/worlds end are to britain what big mama's house is to america and viced-versa
>>84431516
Its ok, but not as funny or as good as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz
>>84431516
I dislike it for it hit too close to home
>Netflix announced on Thursday that “Sense8” will get a two-hour finale special expected to air in 2018.
http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/sense8-2-hour-finale-special-netflix-1202483044/
>series originally had a 5 season arc planned
>now has to fit it all into a shitty rushed 2 episode finale after a failed season 2
lmao
Even when they cancel shows they're kind.
Why can't TV networks be more nice to their show like Netflix?
>>84432062
If the show has a finale people are more likely to watch it. if it ends without closure people wouldn't bother and that's bad for subscriptions.

Hey /tv/, did I get pranked?
It was literally written to be a bunch of loosely connected short stories
>>84431457
I understood it.watched it on 3x speed without audio or subtitlesLynch is all about the visuals. Just open your mind to his glory.
Don't think of Lynch films as a cohesive plot. Imagine them as a loosely connected fever dream vignettes that contain lots of disturbing psychological undertones/subtext
If you want to see Lynch tell cohesive stories, watch Twin Peaks

Kept eating shrimp
Shrimp tastes awesome and it's good for you
Kept eating shrimp. That's not the worst thing Costanza had ever been called and was far from the worst public humiliation. And those goddamn shrimp were FREE.
Unwindable situation like Jonah Hill and Frenchwoman. There's really no right answer.
Somewhere on this board, there is a crime happening. Come quietly or there will be......trouble.

Is Monk autistic enough to be /tv/'s hero?
>shakes a black man's hand
>"Wipe, please"
did Raimi guest direct that episode?
>>84429929
Decent show. Not edgy enough for /tv/ to care though.
He hates dirty bums, but otherwise is too much of a progessive liberal and aggressively atheist for fa/tv/irgins.
Literally the greatest sitcom episode ever.
>It's like Ghandi.
