DOCTOR WHO: SHIT TRIPS Vol. 2
- The Anthology -
>Are you a true fan of Doctor Who?
>Have you ever written down a sequence of words?
If the answer is yes or no, then you are ready to contribute a literary masterpiece to the second /who/ collection of original Doctor Who-based short fiction.
/who/ did it once. Now, we're gonna do it again! Yet another entry in an age-old tradition of p̶a̶c̶k̶a̶g̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶a̶n̶f̶i̶c̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶g̶e̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶g̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶m̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶i̶r̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶l̶e̶g̶i̶t̶i̶m̶a̶c̶y̶ / celebrating the magic of Who and the talent of a community.
There are no limits (except the story must be at least 1 word long, and preferably not in excess of 10,000, it's short fiction you fuck).
>- Can involve any Doctor(s), companion(s), side characters, spinoff characters and beyond, as your heart desires
>- Can be in any style, whether it's "legitimate writing", "pisstake", or "shitpost".
>- Can be about absolutely anything
>- The main focus is on good fun in the vein of the wiki, although serious entries are allowed. (If you're going to write smut, maybe approach it with a degree of levity)
Stuck for ideas? Try starting with your favourite TARDIS team (or for timeliness, Whittaker 13th Doctor) and one of these authentic titles:
http://www.saberpunk.net/DoctorWho/DoctorWhoSerialGenerator.php
https://glyphobet.net/drwho
We are going to be starting an index on the wiki for the collection. Anyone can contribute, no signups/pitches required. If you have ideas, feel free to broadcast them.
The rest is self-explanatory. Format for uploading your work is up to you, as long as it can be conveniently copied across (and ideally don't spam long texts in /who/ directly). (Pastebin works well.)
BONUS: Anyone who wants to do cover art or "illustrations" is encouraged.
WE need more entries for classic as well as NuWho Doctors. Entries for Thirteen are accepted as well. Aug 10th is deadline

If the answer is yes or no, then I don't care, nerd.
Why is this better than anything else in the MCU. How is this allow?
What does /tv/ think of this? Is it worth watching?

It's greasy as fuck and very wiggerish.
6/10 it's got good humor but it's not Canadian it's Americanized Canada. I'm sure Toronto fags love it.

Happiness is my favorite film.
In the universe in which Happiness takes place, total aggregate happiness almost always remains in proportion with the number of people in the universe; the ratio of people to happiness does not change. Happiness cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be acquired or relinquished. If it is acquired, then someone else lost happiness. If it is relinquished, then someone else gained happiness.
Bill gets happiness, his sons friend loses it.
Joy gets happiness while playing guitar and singing "happiness", her sister call and takes it away.
You can go on down the list and find countless examples of this. But there are two exceptions:
Once when Joy ends it with Vlad, and once when Allen and Kristina are in bed together.
Joys happiness is later stripped from her in the final scene, and whatever happiness Allen and Kristina created together is taken away when we discover that Kristina is sent to prison.
The final scene really hammers this idea home for me. It seems that Billy Maplewood has created happiness by cumming. Only the dog licks his cum, then proceeds to enter the dining room and lick his mother on her face. She is, in a literal sense, affected by Billy's happiness. And the response by the family reinforces this idea that happiness cannot be created in this universe, at least not usually.
Im on my mobile so the formatting is fucked and there are probably lots of grammatical errors but goddamn I love this movie.
Season 2 > Season 1 right?

Anyone else seen this show?
>Ted Melfi was in talks to direct the movie, but dropped out to direct HIDDEN FIGURES and was replaced by Jon Watts. Drew Goddard and John M. Daley & Jonathan Goldstein were also approached.
>Asa Butterfield, Charlie Rowe, Judah Lewis, Matthew Lintz, Charlie Plummer, Liam James, Chandler Riggs and Timothée Chalamet auditioned for Spider-Man before Tom Holland was cast.
>Michael Keaton initially declined the role of Adrian Toomes due to scheduling conflicts, but Marvel Studios was able to accomodate to his schedule. Michael Shannon was briefly approached for the role, but declined. Mark Hamill was also interested.
>Watts originally envisioned Nick Fury as Peter's mentor.
>In early drafts, Zendaya's character Michelle was also Peter's apartment neighbor. Further revisions made them just classmates.
>In early drafts, Tony Revolori's character was named "Manuel". Further revisions made him into Flash Thompson.
>In early drafts, Toomes would've been one of Peter's teachers and not Liz's father.
>In early drafts, War Machine and Vision would make appearances, helping Iron Man save the collapsing Staten Island ferry.
>In early drafts, Happy would tell Peter that Tony told him to tell Peter something about how "with great powers comes great... Whatever" when they meet in the bathroom.
>In early drafts, Peter would accept Stark's offer and reveal his secret identity to the world.
>Early cuts featured an extended sequence of Aunt May rescuing a young girl in peril while secretly being observed by Peter.
>Watts produce an entire DVD with over 10 different PSAs starring Captain America, including one about the importance of oral hygiene and one titled "Rapping with Cap". They'll be available on the home release.

Yeah I'm not going to read all that. Nice double spacing by the way.

>Michael Shannon was briefly approached for the role, but declined
>"No, I'm not really looking for that. They called me recently about some iteration - I won't say - but some version of a movie that's been made already countless times. They were gonna give me a lot of money, but I was like nah. Big movie, too. But I have to think it's an interesting story. If I don't, I can't do it. I won't do it."
Sounds like it was gonna be even more trash than it ended up being
>What style would you like

why is this show still on the air
>>85463893
It's really a show for young dumb women. I know because it's my sisters favorite show.
>mfw I just remembered that James Gandolfini is dead
You have ten (10) seconds to explain why you don't watch kino, movies or television at 1.2x speed
Pros:
>can't tell the difference between 1.2x and normal
>saves a lot of time
Cons
>literally none
1.5x is more my tempo
I do actually.
>>85463582
Never thought of that. Seems like a good idea.
