what are some of your favorite uses of color in film?
I finally got around to watching pic-related after seeing it posted all over /tv/ for years and I thought it was pretty alright.
But the main thing I wanna talk about is the color composition though.
The majority of the movie was really overpowered by Orange/Blue tints and cold/warm colors which was a pretty cool visual choice
But I didn't fully understand how it was used in the scenes.
At first I thought they were supposed to convey the emotions of characters or tension in a scene, but in certain scenes they don't follow this idea.
What do you guys think of this?

See I've read that too but I swear my DVD copy back in the early 2000s didn't have the green shit. I might be misremembering though. Unless they used a chemical process to color it green; digital color timing wasn't a thing when they were editing the film AFAIK.
I got used to it though, it doesn't really bother me on a rewatch. Webm related btw, that's from a bluray rip.
