It took Conor 32 months to go from 0-0 in the UFC to the champ
11 of those were recovering from knee surgery
So it took him 21 months of fighting, it would have taken 17 months had Aldo not pussied out of UFC 189
Conor fought 7 times in 21 months or once every 3 months
REMINDER that if you think Aldo was a flash KO you think Frankie vs Mendes was also
>still talking about fights that literally happened a year ago
The craziest things for me were the ones that I experienced myself. I've had my bones broken twice during sparring (wrist and elbow) and also have had eyebrow skin slit open via an elbow while wrestling. But an interesting one was when a dude's asshole started bleeding from inside. Very unexpected and unique.

Technique is learned, courage and heart no!
I accept a mma fight to 30,000 people and get out of my comfort zone in jiu jitsu made me learn many things!
In six months I did not even win the first degree in the white belt, imagine a world championship fight in the final black belt and just training only 6 months?
it is, our jiu jitsu idol ronaldo jacaré "the same who judged me when I knocked on my debut, are the same as today applaud me"
Out of 20 years of jiu jitsu to a crowded saitama you have a great desire to overcome and know that the criticism comes from those who know they would never have the same desire you
Try to live challenges!

The first step has already been!
Adrenaline, anxiety, pre fight problems!
Is now dedicate myself even more!
I thought I would have a rest to my head, but I'll leave that privilege to when I achieve my goals!
April is already there, let's go to battle again!
I see my friends celebrating the end of year, holidays, beach, all together and I see my training and my apartment.
But sure it will be worth every minute of my resigns!

Is the only reason Rousey is mentioned in the media after losing is because "Le womyn" and "Le feel the bern XD"
Not at all, losing is losing, being beaten up is being beaten
Jon Jones was winning that fight by far and the only reason he didn't was being disqualified, it wasn't because Hammill was beating the shit out of him
Check this webm out, you're basically saying the guy eating a stiff kick to the face is beating the other guy up, that's how dumb your argument is
You got BTFO'd hard and now you're just backpedaling because you've got nothing. That's fair. This is a L in your column and a W in mine, unless you want to disqualify me for illegal use of logic.
>It's /heem/ being technical again even though it should have been a NC
>still manage to become the goat by legitimately defeating Jon 'Bones' Jones in sanctioned, unarmed combat
>still manage to be a supreme alpha male who gets literal 10s despite lacking 1 of his 5 senses
is there a more based man in existence?
>"Everyone in the fight business knows I'm not arrogant at all. He is the one who is quite arrogant, actually. He said he would fight me, huh? The problem is that I only fight men, not wimps. He should ask Velasquez if he has any chance against me."
will conor be gaining weight to fight at 155? he still has to fight at 145 so that kinda seems like a bad idea.
yeah, that's more than likely the reasoning behind it. I think it would have been better if Cruz/Dillashaw was the co-main for UFC196 superbowl weekend card. that card is looking pretty weak tbqhwyf.
Right here bro
Cruz is talking up a whole shitstorm to distract people from the fact that he's fought once in like five years and his knees are made of papier maché and breadsticks
Fact is, TJ is going to have a hard, but entirely winnable fight on his hands. Cruz just can't bang with TJ.
I read that mexishits now try to claim Cruz
lmao whats up with these beaners
IKTF bro and I watched Lawler - Hendricks 1 to make up for it, it's an incredibly spicy banger marred only by the final minutes of round 5 where Hendricks just decided to wrestlefuck his way to victory after being BTFO on the feet for two rounds
Best bantamweight in the world four years ago maybe
There's no telling what's going to happen in the championship rounds and the longer that fight goes the more I'm leaning towards TJ; Cruz is pillowfisted and TJ isn't. We don't know how Dom's knees are going to hold up after 20 minutes of footwork and, while a good win, Mizugaki is hardly championship material, so beating him isn't really relevant.
Personally I think the only reason Dom has been fucking with TJ so much is because he knows the mental game is where this fight is going to be won, because there's just too many x-factors for him going into the cage.
What happened to Steve Mazzagatti?
we just have to wait.....her hair will be back soon ;(
OK so you're saying that Cruz's knees are going to be tested in 20 mins of the match.... Not in the hundreds of hours of footwork/drilling/sparring/conditioning/training that every fighter goes through. He had his warmup fight last year, he's been out 3 years before that but right now hes only been out a year. Dillashaw has only demonstrated himself as dangerous against stationary opponents and besides Barao, hasn't beat anyone in the top 10 or who is even in title contention
Lads, what's the best way to start a fight against an opponent you outweigh and probably are taller than?
Shoot for the double leg takedown then ground-and-pound? I don't want to stand and bang just in case I get shadow realmed
Alright, say I DO bang. What's the best punch to open it up?
Jab + straight combo to the face,
hook to the body and then hooks to the face?
I don't think going for the takedown will be viable if he has friends
>Start a fight
any reason behind that or do you just want to fight him
true, but you know what I mean, she's in the mom age
Just spoke to my sister, false alarm. Apparently she bruised her arm falling into the radiator while moving some kittens. He probably bumped into her or something as a joke.
Still, I'm gonna lift some weights now because shit got real for a moment.
>Just spoke to my sister, false alarm. Apparently she bruised her arm falling into the radiator while moving some kittens. He probably bumped into her or something as a joke.
>she bruised her arm falling into the radiator while moving some kittens
Alright fellas, what shirt is /heem/ approved?
Loser leaves town match? Based on both of their recent performances i would say it's acceptable.
Maybe not get forced out of town, but the loser should strongly, STRONGLY, consider retiring. Shit, they both should be looking at retiring. Struve is young but his heart can't take it anymore, neither can mine.
>Bigfoot has shown that he clearly needed TRT to have any sort of chin
No other way for a man to go from trading bombs with Hunto for 5 rounds to getting 1 punch heemed by Arlovski and Mir. I wish Hunt had more opportunity to abuse Bigfoot in the rematch as punishment for being a walking TRT bag in the first fight.
Sometimes I can't help to wonder if I would of made it to the ufc if I stuck to my training. Old training partner who I used to /heem/ was invited to Conor's and Gunnar's training camp prior to 194 to work with their jiu-jitsu.
Whoa whoa whoa, slow down a sec, I said stop, STOP
Now get a load of that. Preeetty pathetic, huh? Well you'll never believe this but that guy you're looking that was once an MMA fighter. And not just any MMA fighter. That guy was an MMA MASTER. A wise, powerful ball of the grappling arts, oh yeah.
This is his story. Well, actually my story. That's right, I'm that MMA fighter. I was one of the world's most powerful MMA fighters and Dana ruined my life for no reason! Oh, you don't believe me? Let's rewind a bit
*SHOWS A FETUS*
Okay okay wait, that's a little too far back. Awww, aren't I cute? Let's move forward, shall we?
*MONTAGE OF HIM TRAINING AS AN MMA FIGHTER WHILE IT AIN'T ME STARTS PLAYING*
Anyone has a link to Joe Rogan saying Honda is a 10/10 and Cerrone tells him she's a 6?
If he wasn't a lazy motherfucker and stayed in his weight class he would've been a legit top 3 GOAT. He was one of the most gifted fighters to ever fight, he just couldn't figure out angles.
Bet on Dillashaw. Cruz will get dropped by Dillashaw, Cruz spastic footwork wont work against someone who has good boxing.
>the knees argument
Dude do you even follow sports. Torn ACLs are freak injuries, which you can recover fully from with the right surgery. You see Paul George balling in the NBA this year? He ripped his ACL to pieces and came back better than ever. And he needs to use those knees a lot more than fighters. Cruz is still in his physical prime, only people who tear theirs after their 30s have a chance of not recovering well.
You can genetically be prone to ACL injuries and it's obvious Cruz is. Cruz may come back better than ever, but he has had only 1 fight in 5 years and numerous leg related injuries, so it's certainly not in his favour
>you are now remembering the people who said Ronda Rousey could beat male UFC fighters
>you are now remembering the people who denied McGregor was the GOAT
>you are now remembering the people who joined the team
>you now remember Ireland quit and couldn't take its country back
>you now know that McGregor has quitters blood and will get dominated by Dos Banjos
It should be illegal for women to cut their hair short
What compels a white woman with her caliber of looks to adopt negro culture?
You can tell she's one of those "I like black guys" girls but she only really likes 'lightskin niggas'.
>Alistair Overeem has a British flag for the UFC even though he grew up in Holland
>Rose has Lithuanian flag for the UFC even though she was born in America, has probably never been to Lithuania and doesn't speak the language
Can't make a bigger joke than what bongland has become
In your dreams does Mcgregor retire undefeated in a few years or does he lose at some point?
For the entertainment faM.
Imagine the world tour
He's right, Edgar isn't a pressure fighter that bullies his opponents back to the cage and level changes into strikes. They defend strikes completely different as well.
They're not close to the same style.
No, I recognize there is more nuance to a fighters style than
>hurr durr they are both good at takedowns and have good cardio
You clearly haven't watched very much of this sport if you think Frankie and RDA fight similarly.
Do you think RDA will try to stand and bang with Conor? I don't think it'd be a wise move but he must be boosting with confidence from the Pettis and Cerrone fight. Conor probably beats him in the standup
I'm hype too pham need to order it though desu
Games just seem to pass me by now, not much really interesting and even if it is it's probably broken on launch. When's the release lad
One time national submission wrestling champ under 84kg.
That being said, a national champion only makes sense if you're from the US or from Russia.
Being a Serbian national champion (especially one time) is pretty much a cause for ridicule.
>pls no buli
He's already lost TWICE.
And he will continue to lose. He had no ground game, poor wrestling and his TDD is weak. RDA will eat him alive, and then Frankie will dethrone him at FW. Conor is the next Ronda Rousey--an overhyped "product" that will get a brutal wake up call and reality check.
I agree that he is going to lose eventually, but even when he does, he did more than enough to write his name in the MMA history books.
You need to cool your tits my man. It's only a sport.
