Long story short: Within the next three months I have to present a 3cm hairsample to the police. I have taken amphetamines last weekend, which I wouldnt exactly like to show up on the screening.
I know hair grows at between 0.8 and 1.6 cm per month depending on the source (I think being blonde should help me in this case), so it might barely work, but no guarantees.

Is there any actually proven method of increasing hair growth, so I can cut my hair right before taking the test and only remain with the needed 3 cm length?
Wikihow says Vitamin C, Zinc and Iron as well as loads of Protein are best for growing hair faster.

Also it says that I have to carry the costs of the whole test (urine is in there as well that shouldnt be a problem after being clean for a couple weeks. Does anyone know how much I can expect to pay for this?

desu you're fucked crystal stays in your system for a lot longer than few days
>>
>>8822195
Im not a frequent user so it should be out of my system pretty quickly. After that as long as I dont take more my hair will outgrow the part that is contaminated.
Three months will be a close call to grow three centimeters of hair though, so Im looking for ways to speed it up.

what the fuck is trigonometry about, seriously i can't find any explanations for this and everyone is just 'dude sohcahtoa lmao' whenever i ask. i realize that is angles and triangles and shit but where do the sine/cosine/tangent functions even come from
31 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
>>8821697
Nigga you can google this shit.
Sine is the y coordinate of the intercept of a circle of radius one and a line from the origin at a given angle
Cosine is the x coordinate
Tangent is Sine/Cosine (also some other shit but cbf explaining).
Google it and you'll see proofs of why these definitions work with sohcahtoa

there's like 5 threads currently with obviously underage people in them. i think i'll be fine

fucking all that got explained to me in class was sohcahtoa and degrees/radians and that was all i've heard of it for 2 years.

Alright guys, I have an idea. We could make a big drill, and drill past the crust, into the mantle, where there is a lot more iron and nickle than in the crust. It's also semi-liquid, so we could just suck it up with a tube. We'd make millions.

OK, so before we have like 50 fucking threads on this, NASA's institute for fucking crazy ideas that might just work is funding preliminary goddamn work to see if a reactionless drive/fucking warp drive is possible or a big fucking load of crap:

https://www.nasa.gov/directorates/spacetech/niac/2017_Phase_I_Phase_II/Mach_Effects_for_In_Space_Propulsion_Interstellar_Mission

Will it survive to round II of NASA's is this a crazy idea or not investigation? Just how many 'NASA'S WORKING ON A WARP DRIVE' popsci articles will this spawn?

Regardless EM drive BTFO

/sci/, is BPD really curable? Like, does the underlaying mental wibbly-wobbly-ness ever go away?
Or can you just learn to surpress the outbursts?

Can an Anon with experience in CBT help me out here? I´d really like to see a silver lining today.

I believe so, but only in rare cases where the person has something akin to a religious experience or spiritual enlightenment.

Such can truly be a strong experience that will reset the brain in a certain way.

But OP, do you suffer from BPD or someone you know? To be fair this is not the first place to go to for advice.
>>
But CBT works if you are dedicated, slowly, but it does.

>But OP, do you suffer from BPD or someone you know?
I do. The aggressive kind though, not the one where you have meaningless drug-fueled sex every day.
It´s really not very pretty, being paired with years of loneliness (plus the resulting lack of social skills) and my troubled childhood.

And I come here, because my therapist is a moron fresh out of college, who doesn´t know shit. And me being the lonely weirdo, I have only you guys to ask.

What do you make of patterns

There are no patterns in nature. There is only humanity's psychological projection that there are patterns in nature.

How the fuck do ships float? It just boggles my mind that a mountain of metal can stay above water. And like how can they have pools on ships? You drill a hole in a boat, fill it with water and the boat still floats? WTF
97 posts and 14 images submitted.
>>
Pressure has to balance out from the water that it displaces. It balances out before its fully submerged. Its that simple. Same for the pool. It has weight but its still less that the bouyant counterpressure.

Water is heavy
Metal is heavy also, but the hollow shape pushes aside it's weight in water. This is called displacement.

The swimming pools are relatively small compared to the ship. It's like a thimble full of water on a toy boat.
