I'm gonna put my D in your mom.
Why? Why not just an open D-cell? I get d for dimension, but why D for dick? Is this some false flag by Michio "Mochizuki" Cuckoo?

I've been getting weird nerve and eye problems so my doctor put me on a high dose of prednisone for immumosuppression thinking it was related to vasculitis, but now the nerve problems are worsening and I've also developed a painful rash that's spreading across my body. I know that both shingles and (much less likely) leprosy can produce skin rash and nerve problems, but are there any others to consider? The rash hasn't responded to cephalexin or doxycycline. Bacterial and herpes 1/2 cultures were negative.
I'm tingly all over, I'm getting a tremor in my hands, my ears are ringing, and my retinas are getting all fucked up.

But seriously, have you google'd all of it? And I don't only mean the chemical shit but the brands as well.

Hows the CBC and CRP?
Where were the cultures from? Any from CSF?
No fever? You always have been conscious %100? No pains (apart from the rash)?
Any neck stiffness?
If they started an antibiotic course I guess they have some basis to suspect an infection.
The antibiotic choice does seem strange to me though.
The systemic prednisone before it is weird. Do you have vasculitis or was it a guess?
>>8812107
CBC, ESR, and ANCA are normal. Haven't had a CRP. They scraped some of the lesions and took samples. I've had a low grade fever and scratchy throat, but I'm otherwise okay. I've been getting a lower back ache that kind of resembles sciatica though.
They're treating this as a large number of coincidental medical problems, hence why they're trying to treat it as hot tub folliculitus.
When I say "doctor," that's really a simplification. I've seen around ten people ranging from rheumatology to neuroopthalmology and they still don't know what's going on. My chief complaint has been vision loss but the other neuropathies haven't become a legitimate problem until the last two months. My vision loss most closely resembles this hyper-rare condition called AZOOR, but with some things that don't quite fit. Supposedly I'm on a national mailing list for unsolved cases of vision loss now.

You don't, really.

My brain is rusted from disuse and certainly shrunken beyond belief.
I am anxious and I have poor piss concentration and memory.
Plus I read that studying damages the brain unless you're very young.
What are the chances I can have some volume back?
Any studies about that?

Ones that don't cause permanent damage preferably.

We don't need to wait for carbon nanotubes. We can build it today. The Orbital Ring doesn't require long tethers like an elevator to geosynchronous. And it will pay for itself with all of the cheap, clean energy we get from space-based solar arrays.

I don't watch videos, why don't you post your calculations on how this is feasible as text?
So uh what's the probability of failure over the DECADES that it will be in operation? If it fails how much damage does it cause?
And how can you be assured that it will actually pay back its construction cost over the period of DECADES? In a couple decades it might be obsolete.

I think people have not wrapped their heads around the new era in space flight we are about to enter. Compare it to the auto industry... is there any mission for , let's say, Ford, if Chevrolet makes a car already? Is there a mission for more than one airline? Is there any need for more than one cellular phone service in a given area?
We are passing away from the era where only governments went into space (have been for commercial satellite launches for some time) and competition is inevitable and valuable, as different companies and probably some governments vie to be more competitive in costs and capabilities.

why does a square with a side length of 1 cm have a lower area than a circle with a diameter of 1 cm despite the fact that if you place the circle inside the square the circle will take up less space than the square?
the area of a circle with diameter 1 is pi/4<1 you cuck

You're wrong though.
the area of a circle with a diameter is 3.14 * 1^2
which is 3.14

why is smoking so addictive
what's the evolutionary purpose or is it just an accidental side effect of the 'optimization algorithm'
substances in general
>It has long been established that genetic factors along with social and psychological factors are contributors to addiction. A common theory along these lines is the self-medication hypothesis. Epidemiological studies estimate that genetic factors account for 40–60% of the risk factors for alcoholism. Similar rates of heritability for other types of drug addiction have been indicated by other studies.
this is absurdly high heritability
I've often wondered what evolutionary advantage tobacco has in being addictive.
It could jut be a coincidence, with so many plant species existing there's bound to be one or more that have addictive qualities.
>>8815127
There is no direct evolutionary purpose to addiction (from the perspective of the addict). Addiction is a side effect of molecules that work on the brain's endogenous reward system.
Certain behaviors are reinforced through neurotransmitter (e.g. dopamine and serotonin) action. If you eat when you're hungry, that act is rewarding, and so you repeat the behavior. This is is obviously adaptive in the evolutionary sense.
Nicotine and related substances act directly on the brain's reward system, and more strongly than 'natural' behaviors, so these substances are likely to reinforce the behavior that led to the substance being ingested. And with each time the behavior is repeated, the reinforcement becomes stronger, in time leading to structural changes in the brain's reward system.
>>8815127
Before widepsread agriculture, the only way to get tobacco was to kill a wooly mammoth and suck the tobacco out of its stomach (wooly mammoths also loved tobacco, and that's part of the reason why they went extinct, but their stomachs couldn't digest it). This forced tobacco addicts to be strong and courageous, which is why their genes were more likely to get passed on.
