The security trucks with all the money what did you think they drove dumbass
tesla
How come cars don't use Knots for their speeds?
They do, but only if they're driven by mrcummy.

so I'm driving in the freeway and all of a sudden my car has a message that says engine power reduced (right where it says coolant) and I have to push the pedal all the way down to maintain speed. anyone know how to fix this problem? my car is a Chevy cobalt.
Do you have a k&n filter? The mass airflow sensor can get gunky and trip that reduce engine power
>>17609083
>cobalt
just drive it off a cliff.
i had a similar issue which turned out to be a transmission control module problem.
>>17609100
also it tells me to check gas cap. idk but I'm already starting to save money for a new car.
Travis Pastrana just set a new record on the mt washington hillclimb. shit is effin crazy

What happened to the EVO? why isn't it setting records. i feel like mitsubishi could BTFO rally if they wanted to.
>>17609002
evo is dead bro. subaru is going for the sedan record at the burgerking later this summer too. not sure who is driving tho
>>17608987
damn that got sketchy towards the end. He's really good
Whats up guys, unfortunately, my car was totaled in a hit and run the other night, insurance dicked me and Ive got around 11,000 dollars, what cars would you recommend? Im hoping to get something sporty yet reliable, maybe something I can mod into a faster/better car over time? Thanks in advance!

>>17608916
Ive had a few people bring up civics, if I was going to get one and rice the fuck out of it, what year should I get to do that?
Volvo 850R/T5R
Volvo V70R/S60R (1st gen only)
Saab 900 Turbo
Clean, unmolested Civic si or CRX
Can get any one of these within your budget and have money left over to play with
>want to be a proper weaboo and daily a Japanese sports car so I can put weeb stickers on it and listen to Eurobeat
>currently zero Japanese sports cars that are better than the Mustang or Camaro in performance/value/interior quality/practicality/dealer incentives
>>17608891
Buy a cheap used Z or Miata. you don't want/need performance/practicalityinterior or whatever the fuck.
You want to look like a neet who collects body pillows and no car will give off that impression better than those with stickers (or a 3k civic with a few simple mods which could also be considered a "sports" car by some)
>>17608932
>3k civic/miata
I make 70k/yr, I can do better than that
>Camaro
>practicality
Can other cars compete in the same price range with this model BMW 3 series for track and drift use?
>>17608722
Probably not, especially in Europe.
>>17608722
Well it needs to be AT LEAST a 330i to not be painfully slow
>>17610651
you can drift a 100 hp 316i. speed is irrelevant when drifting

Euro's will never experience this comfort.
ITT: World record holders, I'll start with the Nio EP9, fastest street legal and fastest production car around the nurburgring
gtr is the fastest jdm around the nurbergring
General Motors/Boeing Lunar Roving Vehicle holds the lunar land speed record of 11.2 mph (18 kph). Also the only human occupied and driven wheeled vehicle on an extra terrestrial body.

Okay /o/ let's talk. What's the deal with these? I have the chance to get one in fairly good condition from a local seller. Yes it's the U.S. Corolla GTS version, I hear they're just tons of fun with no driver assist, ABS, etc so it's all about how you drive. I'm looking for something I can work on and maintain, even upgrade if wanted, but have it be reliable enough for daily driving and some fun at night. Always wanted an AE86 and I'm an amerifag so let's hear it.
>inb4 weeabo
>inb4 notfastenough.jpg
>inb4 it's not an 86 it's a corolla
You want to touch it. You want to put your hands all over its virgin body.
>>17608218
Even if it wasn't the Initial D tofu meme machine, you're still looking at a car that's 30 years old, and parts are likely no longer available.
>>17608236
Oh when you talk like that-
>>17608304
30 years old true, but I enjoy working on cars and making them up to date. Also parts are plenty available especially online, ever heard of CarID com?
just fucked up and had a kid, so im looking to buy a fun 4 door car that wont another shit box on the road. Im looking for new or lightly used because warrenty. My budget is ~30K preferably less. My two top choices are a wrx and the focus st. Can /o/ give me some feed back? There are a lot about those two cars that i like, but i am open to other options too.
>>17608077
Elantra Sport.
>>17608077
Wrx is as good as it gets under 30k

Here is how you properly hold a steering wheel
If you do not do this, you should probably leave.
>>17607881
I second that.
Funny how there are those bulges at 10 and 2 where you'd be gripping the wheel during normal driving.
>>17607881
I do if I'm driving my weekend car on a well banked road, or anything challenging.
But when I'm driving the daily on the freeway or cruising around a neighborhood, I get lazy and lapse into dogfucker.
Selling my 05 Mustang V6 automatic 170,000 miles. Interior is near mint with leather seats, no cuts. Exterior condition good but has some sun peeling on roof and small back bumper crack. I bought it last year for $5000. Timing chain broke and damaged engine. What can I get for the car now as is? $3000?
>>17607824
Sun fading I mean. Not peeling.
>>17607824
1500 if you're lucky as parts car
>>17607824
Ahahaha this is literally how you will word the ad
>totally mint guys runs great all good
>oh btw the engine is totally fucked because I didn't do basic maintenance
>oh but that only takes like 2k off the value hehe
Go fuck yourself OP
This is basically an auto rolling body but still has a fucked engine that needs removing. I wouldn't give you 500 bucks for it.
Standard
>2.0L turbo

>196.3" length (189.6 outback)
>73.3" width (72.4 outback)
>74 cubic feet of trunk volume (Subaru is 73)
It has three trim levels starting at $29,995 1SV
(cloth, back up camera, Android auto/apple carplay, 7 inch touch screen display, 60/40 rear seat fold)
$33,575 1SB
(Leather wrapped steering wheel, more color options, 8 way power driver seat, auto dimming rearview mirror)
$35,945 1SL
(4.2 inch Digital gauge cluster, 8 inch infotainment screen, 8 way driver and passenger seat, 40/20/40 rear seat fold, ambient interior lighting, dual zone climate control, hands free lift gate, heated seat and steering wheel, leather seat, remote start)
That's an Insignia Tourer (GSi)
I drive one every day at work. They aren't bad, save for the HUGE A-pillars which make visibility a bitch. The HUD is nice. The electronic throttle isn't as responsive as I would like; same for the high beams (if you quickly flash people there's a small delay)
Only retards or gm employees will buy this
So an all wheel drive Malibu? Son of a bitch I just bought a new Malibu. Those GM cocksuckers.

Truck's a total loss. Write it off.
