Which are the boards we have a nice relationship with? I know that /fa/ is /mu/ approved, but I was wondering if there is anywhere we are seen as buddies and stuff.

I really miss /sp/

*searches rbt for bros for life image and fails because its all gone*
I go to boards when I have something I want to discuss that belongs there.
I don't even understand your question, like, do you go to specific boards and just shitpost about nothing?
>discover new band
>download discography and thoroughly enjoy it
>look through /mu/ archive to see what i should think of it
>every thread says they're pleb and shit
>delete everything
ITS NOT FAIR
It's not fair that you were born so spineless?
Dude. Just listen to what you like. This site's music taste is shot anyway.
>>72363684
just follow the charts you moron. discovery is neither rewarded nor encouraged

Out of all the genres that derive from hiphop or feature rapping, UK Drill is the shittest by a fucking long shot. Boring same old production and they can never rap for shit.

Name a better opera than Don Giovanni. I'll wait.
The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute are both better. You've obviously fallen in to the emo trap of serious=good.
>>72363298
why are they better? there is literally no interesting narrative to either...

These threads are made to initiate discussion and posting about funk, soul, disco, gogo, breakbeat and all the groovy music you don't see mentionned in other threads.
I'll post albums and 12"s/7"s, don't hesitate to do so yourself so we can all get back home with new items on our wishlists !
>>72363255
and I forgot the classics :
a) what are you spinning right know ?
b) what are you favorite albums/12"s/7"s released so far this year, and what releases are waiting for
c) what shows did you get to recently or are planning to go ?

Drop Graveyard Girl from the tracklist and you've got yourself a 10/10 album.

Like every other M83 record, the first three tracks are great (except Junk, which just sucks)
What is /mu/'s opinion on Basshunter?
"i'm so 2008 ur so 2000 and LATE" - basshunter and OP, probably

essential early 00's spending your afternoon in ventrilo playing warcraft 3 custom maps core
>>72363130
Awful music in terms of composition and originality
But, it takes me back to being 12/13 and listening to nothing but trance and other such shit.
So, even though I know it's bad, I still enjoy it for the nostalgia every now & then.

What do you guys think of this book?
I bought the 2013 version (pic related) and I've been slowly listening to the albums in order (Just finished Love - Da Capo).
I find it a interesting listen, specially in chronological order, because it gives me a sense of the musical evolution in the last 60 years, plus I found some pretty good albums this way, even if not all of them hit with me.
Oh hey its the Wikipedia book

Here's a list of albums removed from the books over the years
>>72362694
Nice. I'll probably check them out after finishing the book, how many years that will take.
Although it seems I've listened to 1/3 of those albums already, anyways.
