Fact is, the culture and life of a nation produces it's music. Switzerland, which is perfect, can't produce good art, because art is born from misery and longing.

would appreciate if the song was longer, some of the vocoder/autotune felt excessive, but your production is good and I could definitely see the niche of production like this

Albums /mu/ would still talk about if it was any good
>/mu/ talking about classical music
good joke, the last /classical/ thread was a beyonce general
But that album is pretty good
>>72510959
/mu/ talks about classical though
Tabula Rasa, Music for 18 Musicians, the list goes on...
Why does /mu/ hate Dave Grohl when this album exists?
Yeah real crazy how hard he can hit the drums my dude.
>>72510940
Drumfags hate fun
>>72510940
It's not even that good, suffers a slump somewhere around halfway to 3/4 through the album
/mu/ hates Dave Grohl because reddit loves him. That and his "rockist" views.
I, however, hate Dave Grohl because he's a douchebag. If you ever listen to him talk, you can tell he's a fake fuck putting on the nice guy shit.
What are other neo-soul/rnb artist that make music similar to The Weeknd's Trilogy, Kelela, and The Internet? It's actually much harder to find than I thought. Like most of what I find is awful shit like Miguel or Rihanna. I want somewhat close in quality to the ones I mentioned.

Majid Jordan is in the same vein, not as dark tho and a little poppier than older weeknd
No soundcloud thread??

Alternative rap with a chill vibe and thoughtful lyrics. A nine track tape of my work from last year. Glad to have finally released it and to be putting out more stuff soon. I greatly appreciate all feedback.
Apologies if you've seen me spamming this around the last couple of days, im just excited to finally be releasing something after over a year and a half of focusing on music and browsing /mu/ often. Will be hanging around the thread to give feedback (karma is real). ::;;;:)

just dropped a beat tape, looking for rappers in the vein of abstract hip hop like Busdriver, DOOM, doseone, milo, etc
>ambient hip hop
>sound collage
>>72510773
listened to Disparity, reminds me of milo- would say your production needs a bit more of a distinctive flavor to it but it's p good, you have flow and your voice is pretty good

Should've been an EP with just On Sight, I Am A God and another song in a similar style
*deletes bound 2 because it spoils the whole conceit of the album*

/mu/, what do u think of Mobb deep?
>havoc is an amazing producer
>prodigy is a great lyricist
Inb4 shitskin
>>72510322
The Infamous is one of my favorite albums and I love Hell On Earth, but a large amount of /mu/ thinks of Mobb Deep as insipid and dumb.
>>72510364
Yea, there style is brilliant and those albums are gold. I love there dark style, like how shook ones sounded.
The Infamous is probably the most atmospheric rap album of all time
