Im currently learning french and as my experience tells learning a language through listening to lyrics works pretty good for me. The problem is, Im struggling to find music with lyrics except chanson, pop or french rap.
Do you guys know any interesting french bands/artists?

great choice OP
this is mine, i can't say it's the deepest or most experimental album this year, but I can't stop listening to it, pretty much every song is unbelievably catchy
Just realizing I have a lot to listen to still

>YOU STUPID BITCH! I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!
damn...
>Imagine a world with no jews
>it's easy if you heil
Did everyone just forget that line?
>Lucy in the sky
>BECAUSE SHE WOULDN'T FUCKING LISTEN SO I PUNCHED HER RIGHT TO THE FUCKING MOON!
Why do people just ignore this like it's OK?
I love the session highlights disc but was an entire track dedicated to John making holocaust jokes really necessary?
If you don't understand this album you're a pleb.
I understand it and appreciate it
I understand it, which is the reason why I don't like it. Checkmate, little newfag.

ironically, i used to like that album when i didn't understand it.
ITT: 10/10 cover art
I'll start us off
>there are two versions of Asia after all the original members were replaced, who then reformed
>there are about four different groups called "The Drifters" despite the last original member dying in 2007
>similar for The Wailers of Bob Marley fame
Any other weird examples?
I'm pretty sure the Residents have gone through at least three complete lineups.
I'm also pretty sure some very famous musicians have played with them anonymously.
Seriously the original Residents would be like 70 or 80 by now.

this one
>establish self as serious, earnest rock artists amongst tastemakers
>expand sound, have a real breakout album
>shift direction completely to experiment with electronic music
>keep doing that but making it blander
>then start incorporating more elements of your old sound again, but blander
>5 - 10 years later, you've become completely irrelevant outside of group of hardcore fans
U2
It happened to them except for the last one.

Who is seeing Death Grips live on the upcoming tour? What are your expectations?
I went to the legendary Roundhouse halloween show where they wore suits
expect relentless noise, and not being able to hear much of Ride's rapping due to everything being so loud. don't expect to hear any discernible sound, in fact, besides the intro to Up My Sleeves, Giving Bad People Good Ideas, and Guillotine. Everything else is washed in synthesizer and bass sound that completely drowns everything else out
expect weebs and wideboys to go, chanting the lyrics to "Hacker" repeatedly despite them probably not playing the song during the set
if girls do go, they will be memers
they're playing at field day this sat but i've only listened to the money store and exmilitary both of which i loved, will i be missing much if i see them?
