You're not missing anything.
Under The Bushes Under The Stars strikes a perfect balance between GBV's early, fragmented lo-fi days and the more fleshed out and high-budget recordings that they would start producing in the second half of the 90s I recommend starting with that album. Alongside Bee Thousand and Vampire On Titus, it is my personal GBV favorite.

Every single GBV album has at least several perfect songs on it though, and none of their albums are outright lousy. Bee Thousand and Alien Lanes are their most acclaimed, so I reckon those could be a decent intro as well.
Many GBV members have also released solo records or involved themselves in other projects as well, so that's something else to check out when/if you get burned out on GBV itself.

I think it's meh
What the fuck who still cares about this band?
>>73116511
Why do they still fucking bother with music videos.
Really, who is still watching music videos, especially "indie" rock music videos if they aren't directed by some Hollywood auteur?
And the song is meh. I loved this band a lot but they aren't making music that feels pretty dated right now. Actually this sounds a lot like ABBA what the fuck.
last one was pretty dead..
heres mine. I produced, recorded, and mixed this. I'm primarily concerned with how my mix turned out from other ears. Will return feedback on SC or on here

What 80s hard/AOR/pop/rock bands aren't cringe? Like I think Van Hagar and 80s ZZ Top are awesome, I love that sound. But then I listen to some corny cock rock like Motley Crue or Warrant or something and it makes me want to stay away from the genre permanently.
that cover is rad as fuck
Give Journey a serious look if you haven't yet, especially their Frontiers album which has awesome production.
Go hard or go home.

Dark folk with elements of drone and doom. They call their style "cavewave"
I believe they recently played a show with Xasthur.

The guy with the deep vocals also does stuff with another project called Medicine Moon that's very good too.

He fell off so hard. He was huge back in 2012 and 2013. What happened?

People don't want to listen to mindless bullshit?
>>73115752
He's absolute garbage and too retarded to even keep along with a beat.
What happened? He made like $30k from tours and gave up. Probably more braindead than he was.
