What kind of music does your family listen to, /mu/?
>Dad
My dad's favorite bands are Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers Band. He likes rock music in general, but he especially likes Southern rock, blues rock, and hard rock. He hates electronic music and rap.
>Mom
She doesn't listen to much music (she usually has some podcast playing in the background), but she likes the Rolling Stones and Kanye West. Other than that, she likes folk music/soft rock/whatever else is easy on the ears.
>Oldest sister
Haven't talked to her about music in awhile, but she used to be really into Mumford and Sons, the Black Keys, and Muse. I'm pretty sure that she, for the most part, likes generic indie rock and folk rock.
>Brother
My brother likes 50's-90's music. He is very much a person "born in le wrong generation". He's particularly infatuated with 50's and 60's music, and likes listening to Elvis.
>Older sister
Generic indie rock and top 40 music, she likes Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes.

Do i just need to listen to purple rain?
nah
life o the times is a perfect album definitely dont miss it
No. The rest of his Prince and The Revolution discography is pretty good. It's up to you though. Purple Rain is a very good starting point though.
You should watch it. There's some high-qual 80's misogyny and domestic battery.

Is it just me or is his music going to age extremely poorly?
I just get the feeling that it's going to be considered very corny/embarrassing by future generations.
>>73782383
I'm more concerned about why he hasn't had his chipmunk cheeks reduced.
>>73782383
>Is it just me or is his music going to age extremely poorly?
It's not just you.
>I just get the feeling that it's going to be considered very corny/embarrassing by future generations.
I agree.

Yeah, I knew there was something about him that I couldn't put my finger on. He expects to be taken seriously, yet he continues to look like someone who got bullied in school.
This is kind of incredible
It's not kind of incredible, it just is

AOTY
I love these kind of chaotic albums, that are over the place in themes and styles but still maintain a high quality throughout.
Other obvious examples include The White Album and The Life Of Pablo.
