Narrating the first two series of Thomas The Tank Engine is objectively the high point in his career
>that kid who refers to "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" as the "meatspin" song
>that kid who thinks it's a Flo Rida song
>Pete Burns was a 2K16 casualty

Which is better? Radiohead or The Cure?
They belong to a completely different time period musically, thus the two cannot be compared. With that being said, I've listened to a lot more Radiohead in my life than Cure.
>>73788821
He didn't ask for a comparison, he asked which one is better.
>>73788821
Is it the same dumbass that keeps posting "hurr this drawing is slightly different to that one, thus they cannot be compared", or is there more than one retard that thinks this way on this board?
I've read this same thing like 3 times in the past 2 days here.
What is your go to emo if your out with friends family?
Is this emo?
>>73788547
Funnily enough I bought that album a week ago whilst I was on holiday with a couple members of my family, got it at a second hand store for £2.20 along with the Soft Bulletin for 99p. Still haven't listened to it, haven't listened to much emo save Remo Drive and what I've crossed out on the chart. Should I get to it promptly?

They've still got a much better taste in music than the average Joe
hey guys, my band made our first album a few months ago. i posted it a bit in soundcloud / bandcamp threads but didn't get much reception. we are now gearing up to write and record a second album and i want to know what can be improved on.
is our sound too generic? what is generic about it? what are the weaknesses of the album? what are the strengths?
i'm really not shilling, this album is kind of old now and i don't care about it as much, i'm focusing on the next one now and i want to know how we can make it better.
thanks.

You sound like a NMH rip off and NMH isn't even good
Well, your name is the gayest shit I've ever seen, and your vocalist blows. So that's a start.
"mouseatouille" lmao
Best: The Tourist
Worst: Karma Police
Most overrated: Karma Police
Most underrated: Fitter Happier
Post prove it's really you

Look at this tripcode in the /mu/ archive, been using it for years
Contrarian.
>tfw rates music by enjoyment and categorises them into:
10 for albums that would regularly relisten to
8-9 for albums with good moments worth revisiting
6-7 for albums that if not good at least didn't bore me
4-5 for either mediocre releases or objectively good music that didn't personally interest me
2-3 for albums hard to finish without great effort due to boredom or shittiness
1 for albums that make me angery
How do you guys rate/ enjoy yo music?
>>73788384
What's about albums that i enjoy greatly but i cannot listen to them frequently because they are too emotionally heavy?
>>73788429
those are 11's for me, at least in movies, never had that for music
>>73788429
Op here. Thats impressive man. I only get basic emotions from music such as happy, angry, funked up or euphoria. I havent encountered anything emotionally strong enough to stop me from listening to music; likely due to my lack of appreciation for lyrics.
In all honesty, that's not something Id like to encounter in my music!

Some great tunes in this long mix:

What are some must have tracks also post some not known tracks.
I'm mostly dissappointed with D&B these days but there's been some alright releases this year. There's been a lot more good Jungle and oldskool hardcore this year though. Haven't settled on a D&B LP of the year so far but it will probably be Calibre - The Deep or Klute - Read Between The Lines.
I've spent most of the last couple of months listening to old Jungle tapes rather than new stuff.

How come you are disappointed? Isn't there enough distinction between the tracks or what?
Also i listen to older mixes here:
https://twitter.com/RaveDownloads
They're pretty good.
>>73789109
It's mainly that I've been listening to D&B for ages now and recently it just feels like either everything sounds the same or everything tries to hard to be experimental and different that it comes across not sounding like D&B. I also don't like a lot of the Neurofunk coming out on labels like Eatbrain and Blackout NL (and I used to really like Neurofunk) and the modern labels I used to really be into like Samurai Music, Exit Tunes and Critical Recordings aren't releasing as much good stuff as they did a couple of years ago (but Ingredients still is).

I think I'm just getting bored of D&B now apart from old Techstep which no one makes anymore, whereas I still like Jungle and Breakbeat Hardcore as much as I have ever done.
what genre is going to overtake hiphop/become the new norm at the turn of the decade ?
I think possibly a shoegaze/new wave hybrid with an emphasis on synthesizers
lol why? hip-hop isn't exactly decreasing in popularity
edm
>>73788337
that's some massive wishful thinking here
I think we're over the whole "indie whiny feels shoegaze waaah waaah no gf" phase and new wave isn't gonna catch on with new generations
>song starts
>guitar panned hard left
>>73788317
Most stereo stuff from 67/68 is pretty dire
>>73788322
>67
lol was listening to a day in the life when i posted. made in 67
>>73788349
Yeah Beatles stuff is especially bad, the new Sgt Pepper's stereo remix actually turns it into a listenable album by modern standards.
Don't even get me started on Hendrix though
xiumin is a child molester

>>73788206
It would be pretty cool starting the album off with FSMH pt. 1.
>>73788206
Would still listen because St. Pablo.
