ITT : Albums only you know about.
I'll start.
does this qualify?

Yeah I guess.
How do you properly criticize a Jazz album?
something something authenticity
>>73987910
the shit ones all sound the same
it's not that difficult
it's like any other music, you listen to enough of it, you realize what is generic and what isn't
if you've never played jazz music I wouldn't trust your opinion
Fantano has no business calling himself a music critic. All he does is open a bunch of tabs with /mu/, hip hop heads, etc. and copy paste the opinions on there into his videos.
Did this album kill his internet cred?
Does anyone else see the correlation with what's happening with hip hop right now and what happened with rock and glam metal/hair metal?
Hyper commercialization, increased flamboyance, the genre being diluted for an increasingly white audience
>>73987793
why did he have to make it so fucking long
he would've gone much further if it was say 30 minutes rather than fucking 70
that decision was a major fuckup
I thought Teenage Emotions was wholesome and really fun, I know I'm in the minority.
please rec me some cute recent music to impress a girl
bright eyes i'm wide awake it's morning. it's not recent but it works.

Is Pothole the worst song?
Glitter is the worst.

Are concerts as loud as people make them out to be? I either hear "my ears were fucked for a week after loudest thing ive ever been to etc" or "didn't wear earplugs and my ears are fine they wearn't terribly loud" whenever I read up on them. I might be going to see Death Grips and Ministry this fall for my first "official" concert and I'm wondering whether it's worth bringing earplugs or not. I usually listen to my music at max volume through my headphones, and my ears feel perfectly fine. Is it a matter of how used to loud music you are? It seems like the people who complained about it being too loud don't usually listen to music or watch movies on a higher volume. I don't want to buy $20 earplugs (I'm not settling for shitty foam ones that might not even work) if I don't have to use them.
>>73987760
>he goes to concerts
>>73987760
Do what you want, but going to concerts without earplugs will take its toll eventually, and you'll be one of those 'what did you say, sonny?' fuckers in old age. Just because it doesn't hurt doesn't mean it's not doing damage.
>>73987760
Depends on the band or the sound guy. A rock concert can be above 110-120 decibels, which is more than enough to damage your hearing in a short amount of time. It doesn't matter what you're used to: 120 decibels will damage your hearing if exposed for more than a few minutes.
Bring the foam earplugs, they work and cost essentially nothing. If they block out too much of the sound, you can cut them in half.
I'm here to remind you about the amazing albums that have been recently released in Arg. (pic related)
I'm from the UK btw, no politic fanatism intended guys

I'm sure you already checked the works of the great List Alberto Spinetta and all of his hands (Almendra, Pescado Rabioso, invisible) if not, go and check it.
Also check Sui Generis, Divididos (if you like eruca sativa you would like this)
And something different but also good, at least in my opinion is Onda Vaga, Perota Chingo, El Kuelgue, Churupaca.
How do you come to listen Argentinian music?
best argentinian band is reynols

If you can get past that nails-on-chalkboard saccharine voice
How can one instrument ruin a decade like the 80s?
>>73987662
it had to come eventually
some used it well anyway, just have to find the stuff that sounds good even though it's dated
which one of those synths do you think was around in the 80s, anon?
>>73987662
Because fret wankers were getting boring.

Okay B/mu/... You wanna join my primitive noise band?
Any other primitive noise makers in the house?
Here's what I made today:
https://clyp.it/m2uhe40h
Hi yes I already joined yesterday and helped make the seminal hit of /mu/'s primitive noise band
>>73987465
Cool, what did you make?
I visited the thread shortly after finding out that my meme had spawned actual creative efforts but it was too late to record anything without annoying the neighbours.
I sure hope Stefan or another bandcamper will join us.
What do intellectuals listen to?
Classical and jazz.
>>73987450
Probably whatever they like
And if they happen to be musicians probably whatever sounds fun to play
Real music like pic, not that crappy excuse for music that is the RYM top 42.
Why does /mu/ always sleep on Carly so much?
She's literally the reigning queen of pop and literally no one on here cares. She isn't waifupop like Grimes because her music is actually good and groundbreaking.
poptimism is cancer btw
>Pop
>Good and groundbreaking
I'm Confused
>>73987302
As you said, no one cares
