Sup dudes
I want to learn the sax, but I am exceptionally poor and will be for a considerable amount of time

Would it be a good step to pick up a flute or recorder and learn to play so that in the future I may get a sax and apply what I've learned to that?

No musical background btw, I just love music and it's time for me to take the leap

It would be a great idea to pick up cheaper woodwinds like flute, recorder, or clarinet, since playing techniques usually crossover between them e.g. recorder is a good start for clarinet because of the fingering and breathe control, and clarinet is a good start for saxophone because of the reed and mouthpiece.

Im gonna be honest here: i feel like during the creation of this album, Murdoc mixed a pound of flakka with a pound of hash and split it amongst everyone involved in the album. It just sounds like it was thrown together in a week and sounds alot like the shit that's already on the radio today IMHO. Anyone else feel the same?
