Chief Keef's Bang 2 is the closest thing I have to what you're describing, but with that being said it's still an 9/10

But she got cancer after he left her, didn't she?
Going to go on a walk tonight to let out some emotions. Can I get some recs for albums that are similar to A Crow Looked at Me, The Glow pt2, Mount Eerie, Carrie and Lowel? In terms of emotional impact and maybe grand, spacious sound.

>Albion is my Town
>Albion
Who do you think you are, Pete Doherty?
damn mac demarco looks like THAT?
brisbane scrub get out !
>Chester - a good Nu Metal vocalist (not saying much).
>Shinoda - Can actually rap, but lyrical content is cringe. Less cringe worthy than most other artist though who write depressive emo lyrics.
>Brad Delson - can combine 3 - 4 chords to create an unoriginal generic bland riff.
>Phoenix - a terrible bass player, please prove me wrong.
>Joseph Hahn - Most talented member of the band, unfortunately he's the DJ.
>Rob Bourdon - Basic, unable to step outside to do anything impressive.
Don't understand how anyone could actually consider them a talented band. For the looked down upon genre they were apart of during their first two albums, they were decent at best. They relied on being catchy like Katy Perry & Taylor Swift, a band member dying is literally the best thing to ever happen to them.
>Don't understand how anyone could actually consider them a talented band.
Nobody ever did except for the 13-year olds and white trash too dumb and/or too young to know better. They've always been one the biggest whipping boy jokes in a genre which was in itself a whipping boy joke.
allow me to BTFO your opinion on Rob

in the end it doesn't really matter
Why do modern rappers keep falling off so hard?
Drake's 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' was surprisingly great and then Views was meh
Kendrick's Good Kid Mad City was a worthy followup to Section 80, followed by To Pimp a Butterfly which was just a mess that showed he had nothing more to rap about (same goes for Untitled Unmastered and DAMN)
Travis Scott's Rodeo was one of the best debut albums in years, with a gorgeous range in sounds. What was he thinking with 'Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight'? Total dud.
Future hasn't managed to release anything half as good out as Monster or 56 Nights
Young Thug peaked years ago with Slime Season 2, the last two years of mixtapes he just decided to play safe/uncreative and not just make something that actually appeals to his strengths
Denzel Curry seems to be one of the few rappers getting better over time
>>74112892
Kendrick hasn't fallen off, same with Young Thug
I agree about Travis Scott, but Rodeo was a let down after "Days Before Rodeo"
>>74112892
>drake
Irrelevant meme rapper, all his fans are girls/closet fags
>Kendrick
Never fell off, has changed, still good
>Travis
Fell off and sold out a long time ago owl pharaoh was best project followed by DBR, rodeo was complete trash
>future
You're right about this one
>young thug
He peaked with barter 6 not ss2
>Denzel
Nothing has been as close to as good as n64

>Eminem
>Came out in mid 90s
>"""Modern"""
Huge fucking stretch assuming it's not a bait image.
I'll start:
- Traditional guitar music (any culture)
- Krautrock (not just "Can, Faust, Neu, the list could go on lmao")
- Classical (Western art music for the autists)
- Ambient
- Folk "Revival" (acoustic sadboy music like Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Jackson C. Frank, No Milk Hotels pls)
If you seek discussion you'll find it, people will actively discuss Krautrock if you make a thread about it, same with classical, folk and ambient.
contemporary jazz

What does /mu/ say to people when they ask what kind of music you're into?
I tell them. Unfortunately, most people don't know what I'm talking about (Broken-beat), I would love to find people with similar taste to my own.
>>74112824
"uh...a-a lot"
I say I like everything then ask them what they like. Then I make a discussion based on what they like, trying to recommend them albums that will force them to branch out more and find more experimental stuff.
E.G.,
"What do you like anon"
Oh I like a bit of everything... what about you?"
"oh em gee I luv hip hop... schoolboi q, drake, the list goes on"
"Do you like Nas?"
"I've never listened to it"
"Nas is awesome, serious old school man. You should listen to Nas"
Now he'll go listen to a nice jazzy and culturally relevant hip hop album, and I can recommend him more obscure stuff like Death Grips later on or maybe go into jazz, depends on what he likes about the album (I mean, everyone likes Nas)
